Panama -- Martinique over 2 opened at 1.80 over 2,2.5 at 2.11 and over 2.5 at 2.38
both teams already show that they can attack, The only thing that concers me bit is that with the structure of Gold cup both teams are virtually in the nex round as I don't think that Canada will win any game. Anyhow rooting for goals in this one. My bet over 2,2.5 at 2.11 (1 unit)
Mexico -- Canada, Mexico ML opened at 1.50, even though Canada sucks and already have 2 starters injured, I am not confident in this Mexican team to cover, even thought I think they will. This is a must win for Mexico. I can't see Canada doing anything again. My bet Mexico ML at 1.50 (4 units)

Don't think I'll touch the Mexico game. Yes it's a must-win game for them but they are so terribly inconsistent right now that the odds dont justify the additional risk that their form is displaying. Canada is shiet, we all can agree on that, but Mexico might just turn it into a contest of who sucks more. Maybe if the odds were .75+ I might take a shot at it, but not @ .50.Comment -

Guy's what's going to be the deal for USA vs Cuba? USA's H2H record against them is fantastic in terms of lots of goals being scored, especially when they play at home. At the moment i see -2.5 & -3 @ 1.649 on Pinny which is fairly low yet at the same time i think we all kind of know here that the US is going to cover this. i think i'll shop around different books for the -3 line again.
What are your thoughts people ? I'm getting the sense that this is going to be another banker for us? or maybe this one will be a little more tricky than the belize game? Costa Rica beat them 3-0 what does that exactly indicate to us?Comment -
These are all valid concerns. I might do a HT or live betting only on these games. No idea if the teams will be playing hard or not. If Mexico's players are not happy with the coach, they will be playing to get that coach fired. This is a likely scenario and happens a lot in soccer.Comment -
Eh though it is one scenario I think it would be rare for that to happen in this situation seeing as another loss pretty much sends them packing from the Gold Cup, which would be a huge embarrassment. Chepo can get fired plenty of other ways, but the Mexican players don't want to exit this tournament so soon.Comment -
I cannot believe the odds on Canada +1.5 are at -135. I mean Mexico's attack looked pretty pathetic vs Panama. Canada surely can defend as well as Panama and might put a goal in net too. What am I missing here ? It is not like Canada also does not have its back to the wall.

Will has actually gone back to Portland. So this Canadian team is weaker.
Mexico is not playing well at all but I do believe they will beat Canada by at least 2 goals, Chepo is pissed (ESPN in Spanish showed the latest Chepo's press conference) he is going to modify the team for sure, more than likely he is going to get some wings guys to feed Jimenez and Marco Fabian).
Ill believe in Mexico one more time as I think they will play to save their pride (and to proof a point) after they were exposed by Panama. My call Mexico 3-0.Comment -

Canada is a very young, inexperienced team, playing without their 3 best players with an interim coach (as you said). They made MARTINIQUE look like a half decent CONCACAF team when they aren't even included in FIFA. There were comments about Chepo being fired after the Panama game, and if you thought he was coaching to save his job in that game, you should 100% think that now. He will come at them with all they have. As far as the players feelings towards him, from what I read they all seem to like him well enough. Mexico is too prideful of a futbol nation to lose to a Canada squad that looks HORRIBLE right now. Canada is down on their spirits, and even with a B team from Mexico they probably already have the thought in their mind they could get pounded tonight. They may try to pack it in and play defense, but their poor attempts at attacking the Mexican goal will result in major gaps in the midfield and the Mexican strikers are quicker than that back line. Mexico surely wants to make some sort of statement after that last game, and this is their chance to do so. I just can't conceive Mexico losing or drawing this game. Either result would certainly cut the rope holding the blade of the guillotine above Chepo's head, and I think him knowing that he will throw everything he has at them.Comment -
This is going to be another +4 goals game. Waiting for lines to change to over 4 and higher in my book, Donovan stated yesterday that they are here to play good and score as many goals as possible.
