Taking USA -1 they lost to Honduras in February and have been playing in better form since then. The emergence of Jozy should continue today with the less physical Central Americans, his big physical body will be a concern for them as he's finally playing in top form and lets not forget about Dempsey. He hasn't scored much but his presence on the pitch makes Jozy 100x better especially when you have 2 strikers that can put the ball in the net at any given time. I expect Dempsey to get a goal today in what should be a 2-0 win for the States!

South America. Currently it's Uruguay in the playoff spot. Definitely one to avoid if at all possible.
Basically top 3 qualify as South America are likely to take the playoff spot.

Don't think USA is overrated. They will be out for revenge after their last matchup resulted in a loss and USA knows they can pretty much secure a spot to Brazil with a win today. They may win by 1 but USA will win this game.

Wouldn't say they're over-rated, at least not in this competition. The last 25 games at home the US is 22-2-1 in Concacaf WCQ, the lone loss occurring in 2001. Last home qualifying loss prior to that was 1985. For what it's worth. Plus 1.5 may very well cover, but they deserve to be the favorites.

I'm looking at parlaying USA with either Brazil tomorrow or the Heat ML tonight. USA/Heat would pay about 1.8 and USA/Brazil about 1.9.
