these are such hard games to pick, i am thinking of a parlay with manchester united ml and either dortmund or shaktar, only thing that worries me is that shaktar has been undefeated home but dortmund does well in the cl and they are good away as well, its a iffy 1

Shakhtar haven't been playing too much competitive football as well so they may lack match fitness.

They've been playing a lot (albeit friendlies), and that wont bother them a bit, as they're used to it (remember the Roma game a couple years ago).

What will bother them however, is that they sold their best player (and one of the best mid-fielders in the world), Willian. They figured nobody would cough up 35 million to meet their buy out clause, but the free spending Russians forked it over, and a dark horse team with a real shot of making some noise gets gutted. Too bad too, because with Willian, they would of taken Dortmund apart (alas, Dortmund would get their share of attacking too). Shakhtar is still formidable, but nowhere near as good without Willian. I was looking forward to watching Shakhtar make a CL run all winter, and once again, a potential sporting saga is ruined by overzealous spending.

Hard to back a non-elite team for the Champions League these days when you have to worry about your best players leaving in the middle of it.

The game in Donetsk should be free flowing, and anything can happen.

1-1-1, net 0. No harm, no foul. What was that sh*t, blowing the whistle before RVP can take the final corner. They never do that, and it killed what could have been a dramatic finish. F*kers. Wouldn't have anything to do with Man U's success off corners?
