Liverpool +320 @ Old Trafford, Sunday Morning
Simple, here. Liverpool ALWAYS plays the big teams tough. Yes, they're on the road (30 miles from Liverpool), yes, it's Man United -- BUT -- Liverpool is in arguably their finest form of the season and their last 3 years dictates big wins on the road in these big games. It started like 5 years ago when they marched into Trafford and kicked the shit out of Man U. The following years have found them pull off "upsets" at Stamford Bridge & Old Trafford regularly.

They played Man City tough this year, lost on a bullshit error, and they absolutely HATE Man United. United's got the 12th man (Howard Webb) on their side, but there's been so much controversy cast over him loving United, I'm betting he calls a fair game. Liverpool usually find a goal from a free kick or PK in games like this, I find it likely to happen.

Did I mention Luis Suarez absolutely cannot seem to stop scoring goals? And that Gerrard is calling himself the "healthiest he's been in his career"?

I'm going for LFC +320. Good luck, all you frontrunnin' non-soccer knowing American Man U fans!

Have they? Liverpool have beaten Man U at Old Trafford twice since 2005. Yes they've beaten Chelsea a few times but this isnt Chelsea.
Gerrard may be calling himself that but he hasnt been that impressive at all this season. Liverpool have had some good wins recently against average competition in QPR, Sunderland and Fulham, but also lost away from home against Stoke and got spanked by ASTON VILLA, yes ASTON VILLA 3-1 at home! Man U haven't been very impressive neither, especially defensively, Hernandez and Van Persie have bailed them out with late winners on numerous occasions and wouldnt be surprised to see that happen again tomorrow.

Mate, I've been an LFC fan my whole life. My family is from Merseyside. I DIDN'T have to cite that, I was doing it for the other guy. If you don't see value at 10/3 in LFC, perhaps YOU'RE the one that shouldn't be in this section.

So let's just see how it plays out.

there probably is value at that price. just cant see liverpool winning the game, if they were 2/1 or 8/1 i would not be backing them as i am that long a pool fan i know how it generally goes at OT. expect more of the same on sunday.
me and a friend had an interesting chat the other day about the game, how do you feel the game will go, possession wise?? i think the pool will keep the ball well and might have more of the play. but from wide areas, the mancs will murder us, thoughts?

I'd agree that they're going to work a possession game. I'd guess final 55/45 in favor of LFC. Can't get burnt on the wing and/or commit stupid fouls. Chicarito and RVP usually score against us, so I'd expect 1 or 2 from the Mancs. I seriously think LFC has a chance to repeat the 4-1 massacre from a couple years ago. I think they're score from a FK or PK and wouldn't be surprised if Webb felt pressured to send off someone from Man U. If I had to guess line totals:
                  LFC MANU
                  Possession 55 45
                  Shots (Target) 16(8) 15 (7)
                  Yellow 2 3
                  Reds 0 1

I'll get you 10 SBR points if you're within 100 on the attendance if you agree to do the same if I'm within 1% on possession or exact on the scoreline.

I could see a 2-2 draw up until the 89' shortly followed by quick goal for ManU to win the match 3-2.

If it was +600 I literally still wouldn't touch it. Rodgers is insistent on trying to play 'attractive' football with players who on the whole aren't suited to it. Awful side. They'll probably score because United can keep a clean sheet for the life of them, but United have improved drastically in the past month or so since Fergiescum stopped trying to accommodate Welbeck and they're getting key players like Vidic fit again. i could see them stealing a draw, but no way can I see Liverpool winning this.

Not really, that's more or less where mid-table sides going to Old Trafford usually are. Better in fact. West Brom were +900 a couple of weeks back, and they've been out-performing Liverpool. Newcastle +1000, Stoke +1000... etc

Good thinking. IMO good bet is MAn United -0 on Asian handicap (not the big odds though 1.43@bet365)
