Is Pinnacle Sports the only sportsbook where you can buy 1/2 point on RunLines or is there other sportsbooks that do this as well?

#2Everybook has it if you combine ML and RL bets. To make a favored team -1 run instead of -1.5, you can do this:
Bet the moneyline, take the payoff from the ML, bet that amount on RL. If favored team wins by 1 run, you have a push.Comment -

#8Originally posted by DougHere's a made-up example of how to make a -1 line : Numbers may not reflect actual odds on what happens when going +/- 1.5 runs with a +175/ -185 game, I made the line up quick.
Boston +175 +1.5 -115
NYY -185 -1.5 +105
You want NYY, but don't want to lay -185, and will take a push if they win by one, instead of a loss laying -1.5 runs.
take the ML ( 185) divide it into 100. That's 100 divided by 185, which = .5405 .5405 is your multiplier.
add 1 to the multiplier to get 1.5405
divide that into 1. That's 1 divided by 1.5405= .6491
Where basing this on a $100 bet, so multiply .6491 X100= 64.91
That's what you bet on ML
64.91 at -185= 35.09
you take the ML payoff ( 35.09) and bet it on RL
35.09 at +105= 36.84
so you have:
64.91= 35.09 on ML
35.09= 36.84 on -1.5 RL
_______________________
100= 71.93
100 divided by 71.93 gives you a -1 line of -139
If NYY win by one you win the ML for 35.09 and lose that 35.09 on RL for a profit/ loss of zero. It's not too difficult once you do it a few times.
You effectively make a -1 line at any book or combination of books.
Don't credit me, credit RX'er Illini.Comment -

#14Originally posted by shock1thanks Doug, I hope you can post the formula soon.
Clev +1.5 -220
Clev +104
Clev +1 -156
Bet the amount you win on Clev +1.5, on the ML, to get same thing
220=100
100=104
Cleveland loses by 1, you break even 320 to win 204= -156
If you can beat either of Pinny's numbers, you can get a better +1 price.
I'll see if I can find it stated algebra style, like for the -1, but that's the thought process, I don't play +1's, I prefer dog pay-offs.Comment -

#15Originally posted by shock15 Dimes doesn't do that. They only offer Run Lines of -1.5, +1.5, and +2.5 for the favorite team. I'm looking for sportsbooks that offer Lines of -1 for favorite team and +1 for underdog team...thanks
Anyway, I've attached a spreadsheet to do the conversion about which Doug wrote. Just enter in the approriate data in the shaded cells and the ±1 run constituent parts are calculated in the unshaded cells. It should be self-explanatory.Attached FilesComment -

#16You already won POTM, Ganchrow; quit trying so hard.
Anyway, 5Dimes has been offering -1 puck lines in the NHL, so I see no reason why they wouldn't bring that into the MLB season again this year. I remember them doing that last year. Maybe CRIS, too, but I'm not certain.
I kind of think one or both of them offer -1 ARL on the dogs, too.Comment -
