Wild fires raging in LA, Californin.. This sucks!!

It's about 70 miles from where I live. It's been real windy and dry and there is no way for firefighters to knock that fire down. They will try to protect structures. About it. If you're in the way, get moving right now.

There are now 3 separate fires, none of which are contained at this moment. Winds have not stopped and no rain in sight. This is going to be a long, long week.

I got all my doors and windows closed.. Smoke is so bad on the coast line.. No lie.. I'm not in any fire danger but the smoke if funneling from the valley right to my hood.. Can see it, smell it, choke on it, and everything is getting covered in fine ash..

Earlier it just smelled like a fire place or camp fire, how you got house burning smoke, rubbler and other materials that stink.. I closed off the house.. I'm good for now.. No one is outside..

You drive 10 miles inland or to the Staples Center in down town LA and it's pretty clear no smoke really.. I was down there today.. Crazy... Winds are channeling the smoke right to the coast line....

I do feel bad for all the people losing their homes now in valley areas.. Winds are so strong they pick up embers and carry them to the next house.. Fire fights can't drop from planes either too windy.. All ground fighting..

Winds died down for now so things looking up..Fire and warm winds is a killer, throw in the drought and dry vegetation and it gets ugly fast here in So Cal..

Funny thing is probably a homeless person smoking sig in some dry area started this.. Maybe a driver flicking ash from a cig.. One spark is all you need in dry brush.. Pooooof!!!

My sister lives with her family in the valley and is experiencing power outages now.. She's not in a danger zone or evacuated yet.. Our city is doing a good job with evacuations.. Saving lives..

Southern California is more perpared now.. Still I'm shocked there isn't a bunch of deaths yet.. People are generally stubborn to leave their homes..

Houses in Belair are up in flames. Million dollar homes being burn to the ground. Sucks to be those house owners.
