Here is a simple fact why Zimmerman is in the wrong: he got out of his safe and secure vehicle to confront the kid after being told by a real police dispatcher to not do anything as a patrol unit was on the way.

Zimmerman was out driving around with his gun looking for poor innocent black teens to shoot and then he found one called the police to tell them he was going to hassle the teen for no reason and then he shot the teen and proceeded to bust his own lip and nose and bash his head against the sidewalk in the 2 minutes before the police arrived on the scene to cover up this racist act. Zimmerman is a genius racist with a foolproof premeditated plan.

I hope if evidence shows this was pre meditated the proper punishement is put forth.

I am glad more key details are coming out about this. IN this video, its rather odd how much room and courtesy they give zimmerman. Zimmerman got clean clothes on and no bandages especially for his broken nose. I cant wait fir the results of the independent voice experts go come out to see who was really screming HELP on those tapes.

Honestly, it's hard to answe this because it sounds like both parties acted irrationally. Zimmerman sounds like a legal eagle who inserts himself in a situation he's not prepared for. I think if he was racist and intent on harming a black person, this wouldn't be the first case of him insighting violence---again this is just speculation. I think I read somewhere that Zimmerman had called and complained about black people before, I don't know if this is fact, just something that I read.

On the other side, it's hard to know what Martin did. I do know that he might have felt physically superior to Zimmerman and probably felt that he could easily handle him. Yes, Zimmerman weighs 250 lbs, but he's short and fat. I am chisled and short and you'd be surprised how many guys try to F with me just because I'm short. Then, when you factor in age, it is possible that he felt invincible...hell, I thought I was invincible at that age. Again, this is just guessing...who knows what really happened...I don't think applying "what would a rational-thinking person do" is going to help in this case.

I think this is pretty close to (maybe exactly) what happened, but was the kid trying to break into a car or house? or coming out of someones garage or was he just walking ? and does the kid have to throw him a beating or could he just continue on home? I think this guy probably did get too big for his neighborhood watch britches but what was the reason he even talked to the kid?
