Silent Hill scared me in a sense that people could actually write that nonsense with out being on too many drugs for the body to handle.

only reason its so scary is because everything in the movie could really actually happen....

movies with like zombies or un earthly things never really scared me cause i always thought it was too far fetched

but this stuff has you locking your doors at night and sleeping with the tv on all night lol

no offense ,how old are you guys,movies scare you. How can a movie scare you when its made in Hollywood and you know its not real please explain it to me maybe I will get an idea what its like. When I got to go to a dentist and he has to do a root canal and some gum surgury and we are talking at least ten needles in those real sensative area, now that won't scare me but it will give me a lousy feeling. but watching a make believe story I don't get that.

Everyone gets scared. That's the point of seeing a scary movie. Who cares if it is not believable. The point is to put yourself in there shoes and enjoy the movie.

White Noise creeped me the hell out. What made it even worse, my dvd froze up while watching it. It caused the screen to appear all distorted and disfigured. My imagination started running wild. I started thinking maybe there's a ghost inside my screen. I was like "Fuk this sh!t!!"... Had to watch the rest in the daytime.

It started off good but the story line got super stupid at the end.

It wasnt as scary as I thought it would be because everybody had already told me how scary it would be....So I guess I was let down.

Paranormal Activity was better.

I havent seen Insidious but I have heard it is pretty dark. Any film with a creepy messed up kid always makes a great horror story. the ring would be quite a good example of this, but actually i found it kind of funny in how 'textbook' scary it was. It was like the director read a book on what makes a 'scary' film and then did it all.

I love scary movies, all the better if they are a little bit psychologically creepy like the Saw films (although the last few were totally shit in my opinion) I like taking a girl on a nice romantic dinner and say we are going to watch some girly chick-flick film after that I've chosen and then sneakily put in something totally messed up like the Human Centipede.

I've written off horror movies as they all plain suck. I don't get scared by seeing a ton of gore and blood and body parts...give me a real horror movie and let's see if i don't fall asleep 1/3 way thru it.

I will check out Insidious once a quality BRrip is out
