Sitting at a sports bar last night, watching Jeremy BalLin it up, and I kept dropping the N-bomb as I was hanging out with my "homies".

It made some of the other whities around us uncomfortable. They obviously haven't arrived.

Yes. Not my logic. It's the norm, think it has more to do with enunciation. Generally I just half the word anyway, and leave the g(er) or g(a) off.

And that is they kinda comment that makes you the perfect candidate to piss someone off when decide to drop the N-bomb.

Not me but in my mid-teens there were two black guys in our circle of friends. One of the white guys in our circle would sometimes call one of the black guys the N-word. Strange thing about it was that this white's guy's father was a racist who wouldn't allow the black guys in their home. I could go over to watch tv but the black guys couldn't.

I'm not scared to use any word with anyone...they are merely words. That said...I don't call friends by anything that would be construed as derogatory and the ones who do like to use the word 'in affection of one another' I don't think I'd like to have in my house around the wife and kid....thats not racist its just a character issue regardless of black, white, yellow, brown.
