Twilight Zone Marathon...Name you favorite episode
Twilight Zone is on Syfy Channel again this year. It is on right now.

My favorite episode is "A Most Unusual Camera"

It is the episode where a guy gets a camera that will take pictures of the future. He goes to the horse track and takes a picture of the tout board and cleans up.

It is on at 5:30 central today.

    Great episode.

Oakas, a familiar name... How you making out?

I have two favorite episodes but I'm not exactly sure of the titles.

I think one is called " beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"...

A womans head is wrapped in cloth and the docotrs are talking about the possibility of her 'ugly' appearance once the bandages are removed. When they unwrap her head all the doctors gasp at the site of her 'ugly' face. The catch is that she is beautiful by our standards. It is the doctors who are grotesque looking.

The other involves an astronaut whose shuttle crash lands on what appears to be a deserted planet. As he surveys the place he finds a woman whom he asks a few questions to.

What is the name of this planet? She can only reply, "ert". He replies, "Earth? My name is Adam. I think i'll call you Eve. Or something to that effect.

Wow that's a nice scheduled list there. I don't know the name of them but the two episodes I really liked were the one where a man just wants to be left alone so he could read books all day. So he goes into a vault to read at the bank he works for ....then a nuclear holocaust happens and he is the only survivor.

Somehow he breaks his glasses and the poor guy with all the time in the world and books at his disposal now can't see....lol.

The other one was where this chick had a face surgery and her head is wrapped in this towel all day and she is compalining about no one will love her anymore cause she looks hideous. But when she takes off her bandage wrap she looks incredibly hot but wants to kill herself because everyone around her looks pig-faced and ugly....and she wants to be ugly like them. lol

I liked the one where the guy could see the future...he would buy the newspaper and see the racing results and run out to the track and bet all the winners...after a few days of doing it he looked the next day and saw his obituary

Thanks guys. I remembered watching another sort of touching episode....I really liked it especially because I used to be a really good private tutor and still would like to go into teaching some day because I find it rewarding.

It was an episode where this guy was a school teacher in high school (teaching english literature) for like 20 some odd years and one day he was about to off himself because he felt as if he never contributed to society sitting in a classroom all day and yapping. Somehow he had a dream and all his old students came back in his classroom to thank him for making them become what they were (most were deceased Purple Heart, blue ribbon army heroes who died in war). That brought a smile to my face.

Another episode that was interesting was the one where this woman went shopping at a Macy's or something, and went to the 5th floor to buy a broach. But later when she came back to return it there was no 5th floor. Turns out she was just some sort of manequin who's time was up to be human and she had to return so another manequin could go out into the real world and enjoy life...lol

The" Changing of the Guard " , love that episode :

Professor Ellis Fowler is an elderly teacher who is forced into retirement by his school. Looking through his old yearbooks and reminiscing about his former students, he becomes convinced that all of his lessons have been in vain and that he has accomplished nothing with his life. Deeply depressed, he returns to his school one last time, intending to kill himself on Christmas Eve. Before he can commit suicide, however, he is visited by the ghosts of former students, who tell him that he inspired them to become better people. Deeply moved, Fowler accepts his retirement, content that his life is fuller for having enriched the lives of others

Can someone gimmie a good bet I can place a 100 bucks on tonight and cash successfully? (Good odds too not heavy chalk.)

I wanna watch these Twilight Zone episodes in peace without having to flip over and watch crappy coin-toss games.

I think I've seen 'em all 5 times each.

The one that freaked me out when I was little was the one with the old lady in the cabin and the little aliens are coming after her and at the end you see that the UFO says U.S Air Force..She was a giant alien the whole time.

Yes I remember Midnight Sun too.....that was a very good episode. He was dreaming the whole time. They were really going away from the Sun.

This is my favorite as well. All you guys are naming great episodes. I don't know if there is a TV show in the history of television that has aged as well as the Twilight Zone.

That one is about the couple who take a picture and it shows what will happen in 10 minutes, so they go to the track and clean up...They end up falling out a window, not seeing their own obit.
