I am saying that it is a very tough way to try to make money.

The best win rates are achieved by those (and that includes Billy Walters) who use mathematical modeling and whose reputation with the books allows them to 'manipulate' opening/early lines.

Markets in major US sports are very efficient and finding an edge using the same approach as the vast majority of players is hard, very hard. Less efficient/popular markets (e.g. WNBA or minor league soccer matches) are easier but you will have to dig deeper for information, stats etc.

I didn't say impossible. In my first post, I said that 90% (at least) could not beat -110 by handicapping.

$800 profit on $4k worth of wagers is a 20% ROI. I'll take a 20% return any day of the week.

Does anyone else think that warriorfan starts threads because he is dying for friends and considers you all his best buds? I picture him on his couch propped up with a bk soda, pondering his next entertaining post to try and impress his guests.

                    You truly astonish me warrior!

                      Who wouldn't take 20% ROI.

But I said he wagers 4K+ a day, and is up 800. That's not saying he's wagering 4K and is up 800 per day, that's saying he wagers 4K a day and is up 800.

48K risked 800 won. Right around 1.5% ROI

Ahh okay. I thought you were saying $4k in one day to return $800. I didn't realize that he risked 48k to win 800.

True. There are not very many good cappers at SBR. Pretty much anytime someone on here claims they are making a huge play or if they say its a lock or easy money the play almost always is a loser.

Best way to cap... just take one game and hit it hard... Technically your best game should come at a 63% winning percentage clip... its because we have poor money management and wager extra games... we tend to jam ourselves... also takes away our momentum... thus taking away our confidence... then we feel like sh#$ and start forcing more plays. Happens to everyone.
