Quantum physics definitely has proof that the world is not what it appears to be. All that seems solid matter in reality is mostly empty space (at the subatomic level)

Einstein dedicated 10 years of his life to prove that quantum mechanics are not accurate... and he failed. He just wasn't able to accept it but eventually he had no choice because Neils Bohr proved him wrong. The Heisenberg (also known as uncertainty) principle that proved quantum mechanics to be right is basically showing that the world is not what it appears to be.

There are many scientists that see the world as an illusion for the simple reason that the deeper scientific reality that most of us don't learn about in school is totally different than how the human brain experiences the world.

Letting quantum physics aside we can go to other areas like neurology, how the brain functions, the process of making decisions and the whole phenomenon of "the self/the identity" where there are a lot of facts that also point to some very interesting and quite shocking stuff showing that how we see the world, or what we think it to be is not that accurate.

Every time something new is discovered it takes a couple of generations for the idea to be accepted by the masses. It took 100 years for people to accept that actually earth is not the center of the Universe. Now, things are different, there is scientific proof, official documented stuff that puts an end to many "old" paradigms that sooner or later will cease to exist, it just takes a while (around 100 years) for such information to become universally understood and accepted by the minds of people that are not in everyday contact with such ideas, information.

study universe "A" and universe "B", the planet saturn and the star sirius. this universe is a reflection(hologram)of the "real" universe. like in kaballah , you have the front side of tree and then you have the back side of the tree which illuminate the front of the tree.

The theory of a holographic Universe is the only one that could completely explain and solve all of science's problems. The only thing is that it's probably very hard or impossible to prove.

Anyway, the theory was created by David Bohm (former protegee of Einstein) and about in the same time by Carl Pibram. What is fascinating is that these two didn't knew each other at all they found out about each other when they realized they were saying basically the same thing, that the Universe is a hologram. One is a physician, the other a neurologist. Good stuff.

Mix that up with the unified field theory which is not that hard to prove (might as well be proven already) if you are really into this kind of stuff, going down the rabbit whole.

Even Morgan Freeman presents a scientific documentary series about the Universe in which the idea of the reality being an illusion is questioned. Not everyone who thinks about such stuff is on LSD. Actually I would say most of them are normal men that are really into philosophy or science

i saw that morgan freeman documentary..was some good stuff but to me the argument was weak to me esp. with science of fractuals and wimp that to me support this illusion of this reality
