Hey guys, I'm a 25 y/o electrician. For the last few months I've been feeling exhausted all the time. At first I thought I was just being lazy, but this is different. It's like my leg and arm muscles constantly feel weak like I've just done a bunch of physical labor. It's like I'm depleted of all energy. Whether I sleep 6 hours or 12 I don't feel rested when I wake up. Coffee helps for an hour but then the crash makes it worse, also I get heart palpitations after a couple cups. And I can't drink alcohol like I used to. I'm Canadian so I've been drinking steady since 16, but now I get the absolute worst hangovers where I'll be bed ridden for a day after drinking the same amount that 2 years ago I would slam back on a tuesday night and wake up at 6:30 for work the next day no problem. My diet is pretty shitty too, since moving away from moms cooking 5 years ago a large part of my deit consists of fast food.
Do you think I'm just out of shape? I grew up playing hockey and soccer and baseball, used to do a ton of downhill skiing and wakeboarding, but I haven't done any of that for 2-3 years and I feel winded after throwing the football around now.
I know what feeling lazy is and this is not it. Is feeling of constant exhaustion a result of being out of shape? Should I get a gym membership or see a doctor?
