all i'll say is if you have never heard Crooked I before, youtube any of his songs. any one, pick one. it is better than any rap wiz khalifa has or will ever make. i even agree that NY rappers tend to be better lyrically but nobody touches Crooked I

NY has always had all the lyrical heavyweights. The home of battle rap. California groups tend to rap about weed and good weather. There are kids on the staircases of NY that would destroy those guys you mention. Mac Dre is kool. But can't put him in a discussion about top lyrical rappers.
