Why Do Sportsbooks Ban You If You Make Too Much Money??
    I don't get it

Don't these sportsbooks constantly move their lines based on the amount of action their getting so it ends up being close to 50/50 action on both sides??? So why do they care if a one individual is dominating and making a ton of money??? Why not just move the line to offset that winning individual's bets?? (so u get 50/50 betting to maximize the juice)

Regardless of moving the line, sportsbooks still gain and lose money on sporting events. They try their best to make it 50/50, but its rarely the case.

If someone is dominating the book, that means they are receiving heavy payout from the book. If you eliminate the player, then you eliminate the payout.

Do you think a book likes to payout thousands, sometimes millions of dollars to people?

but don't you hurt your reputation by banning people??

if you see a player who is dominating like that, why not just the move line significantly so u get more betting for the other team???

How can their reputation be hurt if nobody knows their getting rid of their top winners? Most of the high rollers/big winners are not members of forums like SBR so if they get banned/limited from a Sports book website nobody will know. Anyways, I think most of the reputable sports books just limit big winners, they don't ban them. If you are winning big money they will cut your betting limits to pocket change, basically forcing you to go elsewhere.

          what's a big winner though??

couldn't you make 3 grand a month at 5 different sportsbooks and get away with it??

surely a sportsbook like bookmaker wouldn't notice somebody winning 3k a month right??? (considering they allow people to place 50,000 bets)
