I understand completely. At my place of employment just about everyone there smokes and to put it bluntly... IT STINKS. I avoid the smoking area but when we return from breaks it's hard not to notice the stench of tobacco on all of them. Don't people realize that it stinks up your clothes, hair, breath and just about everything else? I used to smoke but thank God I was able to quit that nasty habit.

I work with one and since he owns the business, he's allowed to smoke inside because he can do whatever he wants.

I remember a study saying you are 2 times (or is it 20?) more likely to get cancer from 2nd hand smoke than the actual smoker. You probably can't quit because it's your lively hood but find a way to create some distance between him.

This is untrue. at least for me. Because i decided to use the ash tray in the car, instead of throwing it outside... I burned my car down...
