Sure if you don't mind living in a trailer park, taking nice vacations or driving a decent car. However the good news is that with a salary that low you would be in the same class as the 47% who don't pay taxes.

$50,000 + benefits is a lot more than you can get in other non-skilled labor these days...
around milwaukee you could live in a high-end apartment (with indoor poll/fitness/etc) for $1000/month and still have plenty left over for a decent car/vacations/etc.
or you could buy a nice 2000 sq foot house for $150k and have $1000/month payments
