Good shit! I wish I would of followed you on the Steelers yesterday. That Bama game will be crazy, I think home field is the only thing that seperates these 2. I did see where Nick Saban said this is probably the best defense he has ever coached in all his years of coaching. That's pretty scary to think but I believe it as well, I also think that LSU's defense is just as good.

aces, should be alot of people on lsu with the line opening at 4.5.. i knew it would get there before kickoff but thought it would be 3 at open. actually makes me like this play more. lsu has been a bit more popular on espn playing more ranked teams which sets up perfectly for bama imo who has the best d that college has seen for awhile atleast in my short generation of following. I disagree with you on that i think that bama d is a notch above any other team with lsu obviously being right there at two but there is a gap between the 1 and 2 imo esp in the secondary. lsu has playmakers back there but they also take chances that havent lead to problems yet. i like the fact that bama is rock solid on def and you know what you will be getting out of them come sat.
also, want to point out that im thinking due to bama, lsu wont have a ground game come sat which i believe will interupt the rythmn of their offense. I like how you pointed out tho that bama off has looked as fluent as lsu. a very valid statement, i just think that the def will feed off the crowd and in turn the offense will feed off the defense. To answer your question, no not really. I could ramble on and give you a bunch of stats but I don't really go off of that especially when a star player like Lattimore is out. Like I said before I watch every single SEC game just about and I have seen both teams play several times this year. Bottom line is I just don't see South Carolina stopping that Arkansas offense. I know people are going to say well Ole Miss and Vandy played Arkansas very close and almost beat them. To those people I say you are absolutely right, that's called going on the road in the toughest conference in America. Arkansas is a scoring machine at home and I just don't think SC has the horses to score with them. If Arkansas is smart they will put 2 guys on Alshon Jeffrey and make anyone else beat them. I don't see SC running game being a factor either because they will be playing catch up, Connor Shaw the qb is their best running threat and I actually do like what I have seen out of him but I just think this is one of the games where they are completely overmatched on the offensive side of the ball.
As for the Florida game I just can't help but think that Florida will get back on track at home. Florida has some guys back and while he isn't the best qb on earth make no mistake about it Brantley is a tremendous upgrade to the 2 freshmen who have been starting. Florida is still fighting for a bowl berth and with 4 wins with 4 to play they still have Vandy, @SC, Furman and Fla St. To me the coaching staff has to be thinking this is a must win to become bowl eligible. I do think Vandy is a much better football team this year but they just don't have the speed to beat Fla especially in the Swamp. I will probably make this a 5x play because it looks like I will be getting -14.
My local told me last night that he will be opening up the lines this evening with Bama-7, I wasn't going to touch this game but I dont think there is anyway on earth I can stay away from LSU + a touchdown.Comment -
