I like the Reds +108. Latos first start of the year and he was horrible in spring training.

Keelo he was one of the best pitchers in the game last year before he wore out towards the end of his first season. He could very well have a rough outing but could also dominate. No need to take a bigger risk than you have too

He was dominate at the beginning of the year. I believe his era in spring training was 10 something. Plus the Padre bats have been horrible besides Headley.

was hoping detroit pulled it out for you guys.. you just can't trust tigers offense. Same reason I'm passing on seattle.

Rhino stay away from that game. Who knows what boston team we will see

                                A's ML (2x)

Braden is 2-0 vs. the Sox lifetime, and Buherle always struggled vs. the A's and is 3-14. A's have nice value in this game as underdogs.

Mets ml pads ml and cubbies over is my leans.. volquez has been shelled last two games and latos should limit the reds to a handful of runs. Pelfrey has been solid against the rockies and esp at home.

Great value in this game. Angels pitcher is making his 1st career start. I like the Indians to stay hot and get the bats going early.

What you think about that Reds over 6.5 ??? Looks tempting

also...not so sure about that Cubs over. The under between these two is 11-4 the past 15 games. nder is 4-0 in Cubs last 4 Monday games, are Under is 9-2 in Cubs last 11 during game 1 of a series, Under is 4-1 in Cubs last 5 road games vs. a right-handed starter. Under is 4-0 in Astros last 4 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400, Under is 5-1 in Astros last 6 Monday games, Under is 7-2 in Astros last 9 games as a home underdog.

Authorities did not say how the alleged scheme worked and said they were trying to determine its scope, including the number of games allegedly involved.

The indictment alleges that Johnson, 24, took a bribe to influence a USD game in February 2010 and solicited someone else this January to affect the outcome of USD basketball games while playing for the Dakota Wizards, a development team for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies. Johnson, a guard for the Toreros from 2005 to 2010, finished with 1,790 points and 525 assists.

U.S. Attorney Laura Duffy didn't name the USD opponent in the February 2010 game, saying only that Johnson was the school's starting point guard at the time.

Johnson "was intricately involved in both the illegal gambling business and in the sports bribery schemes," Duffy said at a news conference.

There was no attorney listed for Johnson in court documents.

Johnson was on the team that stunned Connecticut in overtime in the first round of the 2008 NCAA tournament, the biggest win in school history. USD finished 22-14 that season, and has struggled ever since under coach Bill Grier. It finished 6-24 last season.

Johnson averaged 6.1 points a game this season for the Dakota Wizards. The team wrapped up its season April 4.

Scott Woodmansee, a spokesman for the Dakota Wizards, said the Bismarck, N.D., team had no comment. He had no contact information for Johnson.

The indictment, handed up Friday by a federal grand jury in San Diego and unsealed Monday, alleges that Brown, 32, of El Cajon, and Dowdy, 22, of San Diego, solicited someone to affect the outcome of a game at the University of California, Riverside in February.

Authorities said USD was fully cooperating and was not accused of any wrongdoing. Duffy and Keith Slotter, head of the FBI's San Diego office, met Monday with school officials.

"They are rightly concerned," Duffy said. "They were very responsive and cooperative and it was a good meeting."

The investigation evolved from a probe of a marijuana distribution operation that began about a year ago, Slotter said.

The 10 people are charged with conspiracy to commit sports bribery, conduct an illegal gambling business and distribute marijuana. If convicted, they each face up to five years in prison and $250,000 fines.

Nine of the 10 were arrested, including Johnson, who was taken into custody Saturday in Houston. Seven other arrests were made Monday in the San Diego area. One person remained at large.

USD is a small, Catholic school that plays in the West Coast Conference.
