Dont get a Dell. Much better deals to be had than that. Ge something with a 13' screen and tons of battery life. Oh and make sure its has a backlit keyboard.

I clicked on the link about speeding up an Internet connection through connecting through an Ethernet cable over wireless. I assume with a laptop that doesn't have the proper inlet built in that a converter can be bought? If so, how cheap are they and is there any other info I should know about the subject? Thank yous.

Are you referring to wireless LAN adapter?

Plasma tvs have a wider viewing angle than lcds and are better for night watching. Lcds are better for daylight and well lit rooms. Plasma has the glassy glare and hard to see in the sunlight.

Yea, plasma screens are made of glass while lcds are plastic

Iono, however I can connect my laptop directly to my cable box or wireless router involving an Ethernet line.

that would be a 100/1000 ethernet port, which this has.

It not a bad deal; the 1.2 core duo is okay but not exactly a workhorse and the battery is on the bad side.

But at 349 and a very sleek form its a major step up for anyone considering a netbook; but certainly not a replacement for anyone looking for a highend laptop or computer.

What? I'm asking how to connect a laptop without an ethernet port to a receptacle that only allows phone or ethernet lines.
