If the carton rotted causing some milk to spill on the floor, which makes you slip and land on your head. And milk splashed in your mouth causing you to drink some of the expired milk then I would say yes it might be a good idea to call a lawyer.

If you didn't check the date and started chugging the old ass milk then just take it back and get a new one if you still feel like drinking milk again.
