Doc i can barely move my tongue. You can maybe tell my my pic that i dont have much lateral ability with it. Some ppl woudl think that no problem but it interferes with brushing my teeth and always has. My teeth are horrible now. Pic below

The problem you have with your upper teeth has nothing to do with being tongue-tied.

I don't know if you need the surgery or not, I'd recommend seeing an oral surgeon and getting a second opinion. You clearly need a lot of dental work, and getting tongue-tied surgery will not fix that problem.

I skipped mine, yet have been commended on my public speaking by ministers and professors.
(I do have some issues with combinations of words with "L"s and "R"s when speaking too fast. And I really can't trill for my foreign languages. But whatever).
