Fact is, you need the grades along with a game to play at schools like Duke. It's not like the Fab 5 could have played in the Ivy league either.

Yeah let's all condemn the athlete who actually bothered to go to classes and pay attention. I don't know about you but I want college students to actually act and sound like they're educated.
Years later I'm still trying to figure out why AIverson could speak half decent English as a soph but that regressed by the time he graduated.

jalen used the wrong term to describe what he truly thought about duke recruits. he was speaking about more affluent, well-to-do black players from two parent households being recruited by duke.

his point about duke is valid, they don't really recruit his "persona" of athlete.
