Disasters Are Like Crack to the News Media
These fukks are over in Japan acting like they're fukking heroes "showing the story" when all they do is stir up controversy. They're pissed because they don't think they're getting straight answers on what exact damage there is to these nuclear plants .... sorry, if we're dealing with meltdown scenarios and shit - who gives a fukk if they're reporting shit to CNN. They've got a job to do and it's not to update your sensationalistic asses. I want to pop Anderson Cooper in the vagina.

Well like I watched part of this CNN report where they're patting themselves on the back for finding a US resident who his parents had been looking for ... and they hook the kid up via satellite and his parents on a sat phone. Was a stupid clusterfukk of an interview.

Tell that to the people in the area that want to know about the plants.

I don't watch the news a whole lot anymore because they drive me nuts.

They want to be first. It helps the ratings and helps that reporter work toward the big money and th4e nice comfy chair.

I didn't see it but its nice that they did it, I'm sure the family was happy but the way they do it at times...

I wish they would focus on wind farm deaths. A tragic story that goes unreported. 7 times the number of deaths at wind farms in the last 10 years than people killed at nuclear facilities.

Their jobs are to create havoc and bullshit as much as possible to make people watch, even if that entails stretching the truth and interviewing teenagers that are evacuating instead of adults. It's annoying, but hopefully one day soon I'll find a news outlet that doesn't spew crap as much as the main networks. One day....
