their ibooks look better than the kindle and the kindle app makes the amazon books look better too. kindle has leg up on book prices for the most part and the fact that their screen doesn't have any glare from sun when outside.

If you do a LOT of traveling it is a must. If not, you're better off spending $300 more and buying a MacBookAir.

I was on the Apple website yesterday and all IPads are taking 4-5 weeks to ship.

Yep they are sold out everywhere. When I bought mine online it was only 3-5 days to ship.

Netflix is the only one I know of. You can also stream Hulu and mlbtv, among others. Most of these streaming websites won't work on the iPad b/c it doesn't support flash. Also apple won't approve an application b/c these sites violate copyright laws. Most paid services are available though.

we just got the ipad2s at work to play with. one thing i was disappointed with is that it does not charge through USB while you are using it. With the display turned off, it will charge through USB but very slow. went from 92% to 99% in an hour. So you're pretty much limited to charging through a power receptacle.

justin.tv app (free app) , usually has a few streamers with tv shows, big bang theory/ two and half men, and some 1st run movie streamers.

Youtube has some ok movies as well.

Other than that, no flash player or other players means less options.
