See everyone thinks the survivors are the ones with all the weapons and haven't been bitten. This is a huge fallacy. The only Survivors are the ones that are Immune to the virus. Yes you can contract the virus by being bitten, but in the early stages of the outbreak the virus travels just like the common cold. So no matter how prepared you are, if you're not immune you're ******. Only about one in a million will be immune. You may go weeks or even months before you meet another immune survivor. It's all up to a genetic lottery if you're still alive after the outbreak. Only then will your survival skills be needed. And since the immunity is random the survivor will probably not be prepared. However since they are so rare. Resources will be fairly abundant. Since 95% of the population will be dead.

I watched that movie with Woodie a couple times. Some great tips in there on what to do and what not to do. I think most people get tripped up when there friends get bit and the friend says "I am ok, its just a scratch!" If you go over in your head now what you must do immediately, when this happens you will not be so reluctant to do the right thing. it's called muscle memory. Hope this helps all.

yes i will need to srevive the inital outbreak to have use if my skills and equipment thats why we wll need to be prepaired so no matter who servives we will do ok plus someone is going to find my shit and say thank god for rednecks!

I would have to run a simulation. But that seems about right. Yes zombies are reanimated corpses however many will die of simple starvation and exposure do to lack of food and shelter. Before the outbreak completely covers the world population.

Zombieland is a great film and TWD is a vey good serie (episode 2 is brutal) and comic. But the best zombie movie of recent years is Dawn of the Dead, 2004. From director of 300, one remake Romero. Fast zombies are not usual but the movie is a masterpiece.
