I have noticed that intellectual abilities and outlook of lots of locals, whom i have seen wagering at the bookie shops locally, is proportional to the amount of time they spend at those shops. Do you think Betting makes people dumb or just dumb people are the ones most addicted to sports? Or maybe it doesnt matter at all?

Most disappointing about these forums to me is the pride and vigor with which people flaunt their ignorance. There is an almost complete absence of any critical or reflexive engagement with anything on these boards (including, if not especially, in the actual betting specific forums) and the way SBR promotes and maintains the toxic environment marked mostly by misogyny, racism, and stupidity that is the hallmark of many posts and posters only makes the intellectual depth of this place that much more shallow. There are some bright spots--the think tank and the soccer forum come first to my mind--and, in truth, this place isn't all that different from other sports betting forums, but there's a certain pride that people here seem to have in their ignorance that makes this place all the more remarkable (aside from its breathtakingly low community standards).Comment -
