Just download a winzip/unrar.zip program to download and unzip the file. Then just go to control panel then go to Network and Intranet Center, Then go into the internet options then go to the advanced tab. Then check all the boxes that are not checked and uncheck all the boxes that are checked then re-boot.

ONce you've done this go to the "run" command line or search line and enter "msconfig". Go to the "services" tab and uncheck all boxes. Same thing under the "start up" tab. This primes your computer to be able to use the winzip/unrar.zip files that you will use to unzip the free photoshop file.

Then go to a free torrentz site and find a download. it will come in small segments, like 10-15 downloads, be sure to go in order and use unzip/unrar.zip on each file immediately after download prior to downloading the next zipped photoshop file. Repeat this process until you are done. Then download, install and enjoy...

I downloaded a copy of free Photoshop CS4 Portable about a year ago, can't remember the site tho. Google it and you'll probably find a link. You can also get free copies of GIMP http://www.gimp.org/ or even Paint.Net http://www.getpaint.net/

Both are similar to Adobe Photoshop but less of a learning curve.

In Paint.net there is a function where you can click on any color in an image and turn it transparent. For instance, if the document has a white background with black lettering, you would click on the white area to turn everything white, transparent. Anything not colored white would remain and you can overlay that image onto any another image you want.

The other option is to figure out what font is being used. Most documents would probably be using a pretty common font, then you could just type it up yourself.

That's a little more involved and depends on how much scrutiny the card needs to pass. If it's just for laughs or casual scrutiny you would have to do similar to what I posted above. On the image of the ID, use one of the box or lasso tools to draw an area around the address, keep the box as tight to the lettering as possible. You are basically selecting the area you want to manipulate, in this case the area within the selected box.
Using the transparency tool, place the pointer on the black color of the lettering and click, the letters will become transparent. Create a new layer that will overlay on the exact spot of the box (same size, and placement as the box) and using the same font and font size type in the new info. Just make sure the background of the 2nd layer is transparent to allow the ID to show through. That should be good enough for casual inspection or as a gag.

If it needs to hold up to a close look, you would need a hi-res copy of the image. You could do it similar to what I described above but would need to fill in the missing/blank pixels with a small brush around the letters to make it seamless and sharp.

Hopefully this is for a prank, I don't want to advocate the making of false ID's!
