Do you watch game shows?

I don't mind watching the gsn network every now and then. My neighbors were on "family feud" once and got to the bonus round but didn't win.

I occasionally watch and enjoy Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune despite my friends giving me shit about it. Apparently, stereotypically, only old people watch these shows (I'm 21). I like the thinking aspect of the shows. I probably couldn't compete on Jeopardy without another 10-15 years of gathering random knowledge, but I do think I could compete and win on Wheel of Fortune (barring bad luck).

How do you get on game shows? Some of them seem like free money. It is like a secret society or something, I see contestants go on who have had fathers, brothers, and children be on that same game show and win thousands.
