that was really cool what granny did here but i will admit i am one of those people that fits into this category.

i was at the mall last week and a heavyset guy runs past me with a purse in hand. i probably watched him for 10 seconds running up to my position and then as he passed me. after he runs past me i see a heavyset african american women dressed in street clothes running a few ticks behind him.

the whole situation was surreal, i dunno what i was watching but it was really bizarre. perhaps its because this mall was in the borders of the ghetto and you just don't see tha type of behavior on the daily if you don't live in those type of areas. i realized later the black women was a security guard, and in all honesty, if i stuck my leg out the guy with the purse would've fell flat on his face.

afterwards, a young lady with a toddler comes up to me and only me and says "he stole a lady's purse!!". i deducted that much but it sounded from her tone that i broke some good samaritan rule for my lack of involvement. fukk that, i ain't risking personal injury to myself to stop a guy with a purse that probably contained a few crack rocks and a $20.

but what granny did here is ballsy, i totally respect the move and throwing caution to the wind.
