cell phone scam track phone straight talk

i purchassed a samsung straight talk phone two weeks ago. I've tried to get it hooked up and it wont work. I've contacted walmart in faribault mn, where i got it from. They wont give me a different phone sence i have lost my reicept. I've spent many hours on hold at the 800 number given for support for the phone. I spent $150 on this phone and service. They have done nothing except sent me a new sim card that doesnt work. I've talked to countless support members, it seems like they cant fix my problem but wont admit it.

credit card? dispute through them if you did use a credit card. Otherwise keep banging away. With pre-paid phone service customer service is lacking due to the fact of no contract and they already have your money.

1. Prepaid phones aren't a scam. To Go phone is strictly AT&T, as every prepaid phone is limited to one carrier. You don't buy a phone and then choose a carrier.

2. There's nothing wrong with buying anything at Walmart...unless you would rather pay more for the same thing somewhere else.

just exchange the phone, you should be able to do that without a receipt. Think you only need receipt for cash returns, that's how most stores work anyway. Just a way to prevent shoplifting and then returning stolen goods for cash without a receipt.
