More blue line privilege for a drunk cop, sergeant John McDonald. This off duty POS ran a stop sign in his unmarked police car and t-boned a passing car. This happened shortly after he spent the previous 4½ hours getting shitfaced at a retirement party held at a brewery. He wasn't given sobriety tests, a breathalyzer test, nor was he arrested that night. In fact, he was taken to a hospital, where he refused treatment and left, and was even allowed to go back to work like nothing ever happened. It took his department nearly 2 months to suspend him and a week after that he was finally arrested and charged with second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, reckless driving and failure to obey a stop sign.
Did McDonald's fellow sworn officers at the scene of the crash forget about their oaths or are criminals who wear badges and costumes granted special privileges? We all know the answer to that. Any other person, who isn't a cop, would have been arrested and thrown in a cage. Watch how his fellow gang members respond and how one tries to play down the injuries of the people the drunk pig ran into. "Just minor, they're just making a big production out of it," said an officer on the scene.

Greeley police officer ‘no longer with department’ following June incident with local woman
The Greeley Police Department recently completed an internal investigation into an incident in June and concluded one of its officers violated agency policy when he arrested a local woman on suspicion of harassment.
Patrol officer Casey Barnum was subsequently re-assigned to desk duty pending the investigation into the incident involving Greeley resident Rose Perez. On Friday, Sgt. Joe Tymkowych, spokesman for Greeley police, said Barnum is no longer an officer with the department.
Tymkowych declined to elaborate, saying he couldn’t provide specifics about Barnum’s departure because it’s a personnel matter.
At 11:14 a.m. June 28, Barnum responded to an apartment in the 3700 block of W. 25th Street on a report of a complaint involving a 16-year-old boy. Perez’s son had called Weld County Dispatch from the apartment complex’s main office to report he missed a court date that morning in Adams County because his mother had kicked him out of the house and refused to drive him to his hearing.
Thinking he was investigating a possible child neglect case, Barnum asked why Perez kicked her son out of the house. Perez responded by saying her son is a runaway who is constantly getting into trouble with the law. She also said her son has violent tendencies and has been violent around her two small children, ages 2 and 3 years old.
Perez pointed out damage to her front door her son caused in the past trying to break into the apartment. She noted on another occasion her son kicked the front door off of its hinges.
Barnum then interrupted by saying — inaccurately — that as a resident of the apartment and a minor, Perez’s son had every right to be inside the home, even if it meant kicking the door down to gain entry.(How dumb is this dolt?) Perez disagreed and attempted to end the conversation by walking back into her apartment.
But Barnum prevented Perez from closing the door with his foot in an attempt to keep the conversation going. Perez quickly turned and pushed Barnum back out into the hallway. He grabbed her arms and placed Perez in handcuffs, telling her she was under arrest for harassment or possibly for assaulting an officer.
“I know a lot about the law,” Perez said in a recent interview with the Greeley Tribune, adding she once studied to be a paralegal. “I know an officer can’t come into my home unless I invite him or if he has probable cause, sees something illegal or has a warrant.
Barnum placed Perez in the back of his cruiser, at which point she demanded to speak with his supervisor, Sgt. Wade Corliss. About an hour later, after numerous conversations with Barnum and his own bosses, Corliss directed Barnum to free Perez.

He's no longer employed at the Greeley PD. The department didn't disclose the terms of Barnum leaving, but most likely he was allowed to resign. This allows him eligibility for hire at another department somewhere else unless they really dig into his past and even then that doesn't guarantee he won't be back working in law enforcement.

NO JAIL for Police Chief Caught Stealing 3,000 Bags of Heroin from Evidence Room
Elizabeth, PA — In the land of the free, there are two sets of justice systems — one for all those connected to that system, and one for everyone else. Time after time, we’ve seen police officers and politicians alike accused of terrible crimes and they escape with little to no jail. As the following case illustrates, police chiefs can betray everything they stand for, steal tens of thousands of dollars in heroin from their own department and face no jail.
The former Elizabeth Borough police chief, Timothy Butler, pleaded guilty to stealing heroin from the department’s evidence room but he will not go to jail. Instead of jail, Butler was sentenced to 55 months probation and 325 hours of community service.
In August, Butler pleaded guilty to two counts of theft, one count of possession and one count of obstructing the administration of law. The sheer amount of heroin found in Butler’s possession makes the one count of possession outright laughable.
According to police, Butler was arrested last year after they found more than 60 bundles of heroin and 3,230 individual “stamp bags” (given this name for being the size of a stamp and individually packaged for resale) in and around his desk — inside his police chief office.
Clearly he was unconcerned with hiding it because after all, he was the top cop. According to the criminal complaint, when asked how bad the evidence problem was, Butler said, “it was all gone.”
Had Butler not been a police officer, rest assured that he would have received a far harsher sentence than just probation. Indeed, many will argue — and rightfully so — that Butler should face harsher sentencing due to the betrayal of his duties as the top cop.
Police Find Trooper Sexually Assaulted At Least 2 Women On-Duty Yet He Was NEVER Charged
Trooper Newton Higginbotham was found by his own department to have followed a woman home while on duty, forced her to take off her clothes, sexually assaulted her, yet he was never charged. Trooper Newton Higginbotham was also found by his own department to have sexually assaulted a woman seeking help from domestic violence by her husband and, again, he was never charged. West Virginia State Police — in their own investigation — found these allegations to be wholly true and Higginbotham broke the law, yet somehow, this sexual predator has never received so much as a slap on the wrist. Higginbotham himself, admitted he used his authority as a trooper to take advantage of these two vulnerable women, yet he faced zero accountability. Why is that?
The answer to that question lies in the fact that the justice system in the ostensible land of the free is horribly broken — unless you are a part of it, then it works flawlessly in your favor. Instead of Higginbotham ever being held accountable for his crimes, the taxpayers of West Virginia paid up instead, which seems to be the way things go.
Higginbotham’s first victim received $150,000 from taxpayers earlier this year after proving her case. The second victim still has litigation pending.
The FBI then came in to investigate and ruled that a sexual encounter indeed happened. However, they claim the encounter was consensual. This is a farce from the start as one cannot consent when being detained by armed agents of the state.
When armed individuals chain a person’s hands and kidnap them or merely detain them with police lights on in the cruiser, there is no reasonable manner in which that person could consent to sexual contact. Even if there was no struggle and the detained person goes along with police demands, when you are under duress and being held against your will, there is no consenting.
Despite being found to have broken the law and found to have had sexual contact with his victims, Higginbotham quietly resigned without consequence. The FBI never interviewed the victims and the case was closed. According to the Gazette, the bureau declined to answer questions and denied a FOIA request for its report.
We pay these clowns and they violate us, living in a parallel universe where rules simply don't apply

Officer Charged With Felony Murder Now Facing Seven More Charges Over Deadly No-Knock Raid
The botched drug raid in Houston that left two homeowners dead and one cop paralyzed from the waist down has resulted in additional criminal charges… against the cops.
Officer Gerald Goines -- already facing felony murder charges for the raid that left Rhogena Nicholas and Dennis Tuttle dead -- claimed an informant purchased heroin from Tuttle and saw guns in the house. One no-knock raid later, Nicholas and Tuttle were dead, killed by cops whose actions were set in motion by a warrant affidavit full of lies.
The heroin supposedly sold to Goines' informant? Pulled from the console of Goines' cruiser. The controlled buy didn't happen either. No one has been able to locate the informant Goines claimed saw heroin and guns in the Tuttle residence. As a result, more than 1,400 cases Goines had a hand in have been placed under review. Two dozen have already been dismissed. The DA's office and the FBI have also opened their own investigations.
The raid produced nothing the cops were looking for. There was no heroin. There were a couple of guns, but the gun Tuttle supposedly used to shoot at officers wasn't in the search inventory. All the officers found was personal use amounts of cocaine and marijuana. An independent forensic examination of the scene came to the conclusion that either the state's forensic unit sucks at what it does or that it was attempting to make the evidence fit the false narrative crafted by the officers who participated in the raid.
And it wasn't just Officer Goines lying. The investigation of the Tuttle residence began with a 911 call -- supposedly from Rhogena Nicholas' mother -- saying the couple were doing drugs and had guns in the house. But it wasn't someone's overly-concerned mother. It was actually a neighbor. This neighbor is now facing charges for her part in the tragedy.
This isn't the end of this debacle, but every new development says nothing good about the Houston PD's narcotics unit or the department's leadership. Chief Art Acovedo spoke out against these officers, but only after the original narrative -- the one Goines is charged with creating -- became impossible to defend.

Gerald Goines was the officer who lied in the affidavit to secure the warrant for the raid and was one of the officers shot (most likely by friendly fire) at the scene, which he obviously didn't plan. While in the hospital a search warrant was executed on his police vehicle and bags of heroin and "burner" guns were found. None of these items were in evidence bags nor were any of them found in any evidence logs. He fabricated everything and lied to get the warrant for the raid and most likely intended to plant the drugs and guns at this scene or at others in the future. Several local news stations have done an excellent job covering this story from the beginning and FOIA'd reports, records and the false affidavit that was used to obtain the original warrant. Houston PD tried desperately to cover this up and make their investigation fit their narrative which cleared themselves of any wrongdoing, but it failed miserably. Full blown corruption from the chief on down at this department.
The Tuttle family hired private investigators and a forensics team who examined the crime scene and found major discrepancies from what HPD's investigations and reports laid out. They also found crucial evidence at the scene that the HPD crime scene investigators either abandoned or left behind. This story is far from over.

LAPD Cop Caught on Bodycam Video Fondling Dead Woman's Breasts
The Southern California police officer thought the camera had been turned off.
A Los Angeles police officer was hoping to cop a feel on the body of a woman who had died, so he turned off his body camera and began fondling the dead woman's breasts.
But the camera has a two-minute buffer that continues recording once it has been turned off.
The LAPD cop was placed on leave once his superiors reviewed the footage meaning he is probably still getting paid for sitting at home.
Both police brass and the police union are calling his actions "disturbing," indicating he may not receive the usual Blue Privilege.
why do most of these video heroes have to act and talk like low life shit? why can't they be polite and expect cops to be polite in return?

More blue privilege for an off duty cop breaking the law. Going "over 90" mph, "weaving in out of traffic" and "not using your guys' turn signals" would get any regular person at least a speeding ticket, but not when you're part of the largest sovereign gang in America. Notice how the speeding pig, Frank Milstead, calls the officer back and says, "I don't know if that'll help at all," as he hands him his badge and gang ID to influence his decision. I'd bet this isn't the first time Milstead has used the "flash my badge" trick to get out of a ticket.

Baltimore Cop Arrested, Charged with Raping 2 Women & Forcibly Kissing Another
This cop is charged with raping two women that were under the influence of alcohol.
A police officer in Maryland is in jail facing rape and assault charges. Baltimore County Police Officer Anthony Michael Westerman, 25, was charged with two counts of second degree rape and three counts of second degree assault on December 7.
This case was initiated when Baltimore County Police received information concerning the allegations. The Special Victims Unit conducted their investigation and ultimately pursued charges against Westerman.
Detectives began investigating Westerman on October 16, 2019 after being notified of at least three women who were allegedly sexually assaulted, WBAL TV reports.
On Oct. 4, 2017, Westerman was buying shots for a crowd at a bar in White Marsh, according to charging documents. A 22-year-old woman who came forward said she was so drunk that she left the brew pub and passed out in her car.
She insisted she wanted to stay there until she was sober enough to drive. She said she remembered a knock at the window and Westerman and her female friend were standing outside. Westerman said he would book the two women an Uber back to the second woman’s home.
But instead Westerman hailed a ride back to his home where he allegedly raped one of the women, according to court records. The 22-year-old woman told her friend about the incident and the two immediately left.
Westerman is being held at a local jail without bail, police said.

Affidavit: Bexar County deputy ‘sexually aroused’ during improper strip searches
Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar and officials with the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced the arrest of a deputy at a news conference early Sunday.
Salazar said at least five women between the ages of 26 and 52 have come forward with complaints about 49 year-old Floyd Berry Jr.'s actions. The allegations led authorities to charge Berry with three counts of official oppression, a class A misdemeanor. The other two complaints are still under investigation.
Deputies began investigating Berry on Dec. 3, when a woman called the office’s internal affairs unit to file a complaint about him, according to the affidavit. Berry conducted a traffic stop on the woman and a male friend on Dec. 1 at a Shell gas station at 20115 Highway 281, she told investigators. Berry isolated the woman in the back of his patrol car and took her to a secluded area, where Berry directed her “to remove her clothing so he could search her,” according to the affidavit. The woman complied, exposing herself to Berry before she was taken back to the gas station.
A day later, another victim filed a similar complaint about Berry to the internal affairs unit. In that case, Berry pulled the woman and her husband over, according to the affidavit. He isolated the woman and “instructed her to lift her bra and shake." The woman told investigators she was forced to repeat the procedure until she “completely exposed her nipples,” according to the affidavit.
The third complaint came from a woman he arrested for two outstanding felony warrants. She told authorities that Berry stopped his patrol car in a secluded area while he was taking her to the magistrate’s office. He ordered the woman to expose herself for a search. “Victim 3 stated she could visually see that Deputy Floyd Berry was sexually aroused,” investigators wrote in the affidavit. She told investigators that Berry “continually made flirtatious comments” for the rest of the ride.
Berry did not document any of the searches in his incident reports, according to the affidavit.
BCSO believes there may be more victims. Officials are urging anyone with information to call 210-335-5110.
BCSO placed Berry on administrative duty a few days ago, according to Salazar.
This POS trigger happy cop, Ross Bays, needlessly took the life of a 15 year old and cost the taxpayers $2.1 million for his murderous actions. Until the police themselves, not the taxpayers, are held financially responsible for lawsuits that arise from their negligent, brutal and oath breaking actions, this kind of behavior will continue. These pigs just don't care if they violate someone's rights, break the law or injure/kill citizens because the worst that will happen to them is losing their jobs most of the time. Normal citizens who don't wear and badge and a costume who commit crimes are held personally and financially liable and endure harsher punishment than just being fired by their employer. Legislation is needed to force police unions to pay for these lawsuits and settlements or have the money paid out taken directly from police pension funds. Or require LEOs to carry their own personal liability insurance. If too many claims are made to pay for lawsuits/settlements then they become uninsurable and lose eligibility to work in law enforcement.
Video shows the officer get out of his car, and within seconds, begins shooting, unloading his entire magazine at the teenager as he ran away.

NYPD Brags on Twitter of Major Pot Bust that Turned out to be Legal Hemp
With marijuana becoming more mainstream with each passing day, police continue to criminalize it with each passing day by making senseless arrests.
And it doesn't get anymore senseless than the latest arrest which took place Saturday when New York City police officers confiscated 106 pounds of legal industrial hemp enriched with CBD.
The NYPD cops then bragged about the arrest by posting photos of themselves on Twitter surrounded by bags of hemp or what they described as "marijuana destined for our city streets." The reaction on Twitter was swift with most people questioning why are police still cracking down on cannabis, especially now that it is legal in more states than it is not legal.
Commenters became even more condescending when the owner of the company that owned the hemp responded on Instagram by saying the NYPD seized his hemp and falsely arrested his brother despite having the proper documentation proving it was legal.
The hemp in question was discovered in packages that had been delivered via Federal Express by a Brooklyn-based company named Green Angel CBD. Although the delivery included the proper paperwork, a Federal Express driver took it upon himself to call the cops.
The NYPD still has not removed is self-congratulatory post on Twitter.
Officers Greenidge and Ganshaw from the @NYPD75Pct used precision policing and relentless follow-up, along with a great working relationship with @FedEx and other local law enforcement officials, to confiscate 106 pounds of marijuana that was destined for our city streets.
Charges Dropped Over CBD Shop’s Shipment Of 106 Pounds Of Hemp, Not Marijuana
Prosecutors have dropped charges against a man accused of picking up 106 pounds of marijuana that was actually hemp bound for a CBD shop in Brooklyn.
The Brooklyn DA says a decision whether or not to return the hemp will be made by the NYPD and the State Department of Agriculture.

Florida Deputy Fired for Slamming Teen's Head into Pavement in Viral Video
A South Florida sheriff's deputy has been fired for slamming a 15-year-old boy's head on the pavement, then punching him in the face after claiming the teen had taken an "aggressive stance."
The teen, Delucca Rolle, was only trying to grab a cell phone another teen had dropped while getting arrested for trespassing. Rolle was left with a fractured nose and head injuries as well as a bogus charge of battery on an officer and resisting arrest. Those charges were dismissed two weeks later after video went viral, sparking protests and negative news coverage for an agency no stranger to bad publicity.
Charges were then filed against three deputies involved in Rolle's arrest, including two who beat and pepper sprayed him and one who went along with the coverup in his report.
Earlier today, Broward Sheriff Gregory Tony announced the termination of deputy Christopher Krickovich, who is already charged with five misdemeanors from the incident.
Krickovich's arrest report spews the usual bullshit cops use when trying to justify abuse, claiming Rolle took an "aggressive stance" and "bladed his body" and was "clenching his fists." That is all textbook lies police are trained to use which is why almost every arrest report of an unlawful arrest reads the same. Sometimes they use words like "belligerent" and phrases like "tensed his body," especially when you don't allow them to body slam you. It's all lies.
And they never leave out the most important lie of them all. The word "fear" or some variant of it.
In this case, Krickovich said he slammed the teen's head on the ground because he was afraid the other students, which he estimated to be more than 200, would close in on him and take his gun. He said the students were already yelling and threatening as they closed in on both deputies.
"I had to act quickly, fearing I would get struck or having a student potentially grab weapons off my belt or vest," he wrote in his report.

After ‘Predator’ Cop Gets Wrist-Slap for Raping Kids on Duty, He’s Let Out and Strikes Again
Former Pennsylvania State Police officer Michael Evans betrayed his badge in a most dishonorable and horrific way. He was caught and convicted of forcing women and underage girls to perform sex acts in exchange for their freedom.
One of his victims was an underage girl who called police to report that her home had been burglarized. As she waited for her parents to come back home, this predator raped her. Another one of his victims was a woman seeking police protection from her abusive boyfriend. Instead of help, however, then-officer Evans raped her.
Because police officers all too often receive slaps on the wrist for betraying their oaths in the most heinous manner, Evans was only sentenced to ten years in jail for these acts. He would get out after only serving 8.
As TFTP frequently reports, sex offenders, especially those who prey on children, will often times strike again, even after doing years in jail. That’s exactly what happened with Evans. As KYW reports, in the summer of 2018, during which Evans was nearing the end of his 10-year probation sentence, he fondled a 15-year-old while engaged in a sex act with a 40-year-old woman in the garage of his Berks County home.
After he was caught preying on children once again, Evans, now 52, pleaded guilty to corruption of minors, indecent exposure and indecent assault.
This case is a perfect example of how backwards this justice system is in the land of the free. We see people getting put away for life because they get caught with a plant. All the while, we see cops preying on children and getting off with little to no jail.
Below are a few of these horrific cases we’ve reported over the years in which cops were convicted of sexual abuse and let off with a slap on the wrist. (See in link below)

Isolated Incident? 4 Cops in 1 Dept Arrested in 6 Months for Beating Women, Even Pregnant Ones
Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright went on the news recently to express his anger over several recent arrests for domestic violence in his jurisdiction. What made his comments noteworthy, however, were the fact that they were about his own deputies. Four of them were arrested in just the last six months for carrying out horrifying violence against women and small children.
“I’ve got zero tolerance for domestic violence,” Sheriff Chuck Wright said. “I couldn’t care less what badge you wear. I don’t care how important you think you are in your community. We don’t do that.”
Wright told WBTW that he has never seen so many arrests in his own department in such a short amount of time. However, if he was reading the Free Thought Project he would know that at least two recent studies have found that at least 40% of police officer families experience domestic violence. That’s right, nearly half of all police families experience some form of domestic violence which means the sheriff likely has a few more wife beaters in his department.
All four of the deputies with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s department have been put behind bars and the violence of which they are accused is utterly disgraceful.
As to why he is hiring people who beat their wives, he claims it’s because they aren’t robots, they are humans, who make poor choices — like violently smashing pregnant women to the ground.
“We hire people. We don’t hire robots. And our people make really dumb choices, but I stand by my policy,” Wright said. “We’re not going to tolerate that mess. You’ve just got to make better choices than that.”
Wright now offers help to his employees who may be experiencing stress from their jobs. He hopes this helps to curb the increasing rate of deputies beating their significant other.
The most recent data on the matter shows that Officer-Involved Domestic Violence or OIDV (yes, it has its own abbreviation), is a major problem. Even more startling than the fact that 40% of police officer families experiencing domestic violence is the fact that this number is likely far higher as it is estimated that much of it goes unreported. As TFTP has previously noted, a report by a government-appointed watchdog group shows that most of the time, the abusive officers commit these crimes with seeming impunity. Perhaps that’s why it’s so prevalent. At least one sheriff in Spartanburg County appears to be taking it seriously.
