And regarding this thread, this topic sprouts up on the regular now, nothing's changed... some just recognize sooner than others. Definitely not. We don’t have pages of bullshit like before. 20 new threads by JJ and endless circle jerk. You have guys in other places posting about love, sex and money, etc… can’t make it up. Most of these guys don’t know how forums or the internet work. Forums were social media before social media existed. Digital content consumption shifted and will continue to. The internet and websites didn’t end when chat rooms went away. It’s 3am where I live right now and there are over 7700 people viewing SBR pages this very minute but only 31 of those are members. Only half of those members even consider lurking/posting in the forum. We welcome everyone to contribute as much or as little as possible. Cheers.

It was the same thing a few years back with AM talk radio. Very similar numbers, 90-95%, very many listeners and very few active callers.

People are just too damn busy with their lives today. Some having to work 2 jobs to meet the cost of living. Technology moving so fast it laps itself in three years. There is a massive train wreck coming as Lives and Technology are speeding at each other in a huge Chicken Race.
