I don't think the article goes far enough - that novel idea of providing ID to vote, like everywhere else on earth, as well as other voter integrity measures are catching on.

They were convicted for a multimillion dollar bank fraud scheme involving fake documents and tax evasion.
Meanwhile, he's deporting people without due process.
Once they spent the money, they filed for bankruptcy to wipe out the debt.
After gaining fame from their reality show Chrisley Knows Best, they hid income to avoid paying federal taxes - depositing earnings into Julie’s mother’s account to conceal it.
Trump didn’t pardon Todd and Julie Chrisley because they were innocent - he pardoned them because they were guilty. Just like him.

The Electoral College is a profoundly undemocratic process.
Providing ID to register as a voter is not novel and should be the rule.
But that's not what people are arguing about. On the surface it sounds right and thus not surprising that the majority favour it.
But they haven't looked into the provisions of the legislation and the trap for so many who have difficulty through no fault of their own in being able to provide the evidence to prove their citizenship.
