Same thing but the opposite happened to me Jackpot.

I registered as a Republican about 40 years ago in Md. I'm not a staunch anything but at the time I felt I was more R than D. So, fast forward about 10 years and all of the sudden I am not registered at all. No notice, no nothing, just cut out. I couldn't believe it but it was true. I had to register again so this time I said Democrat just to see if that helped in a democratic state. Fast forward to today, have not had a problem since.
I guess it's the same crap everywhere. What's the old saying" If your vote really mattered, they wouldn't let you do it".

Republicans in red states have been doing this shit for decades. They do it in Texas all the time. 90 year old lady living in the same house for 7 decades gets taken off the register by magic.
