Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment was originally intended to keep former Confederate officials from gaining power in the reconstructed government following the Civil War. The Fourteenth Amendment is better known for protecting civil rights. Also, that was a quick Google search and Google tends to lean far Left with a lot of results they provide so one must be careful. California for example, they have the most poor people living in the state than any other. You can Google that as well and they will say it. I know for a fact without looking it up that Alabama state house (77-27) and senate (23-8) in favor of Republicans and Kay Ivey(R) is Governor.
They Control all the Laws and state policies with a super majority and the Governor. They have all the power they run the state.
They can blame no one but themselves in Alabama.

Let's not forget that 174 defendants who were charged for their participation in the January 6th insurrection have said they were answering Donald Trump's calls when they came to DC and joined the violent attack on the Capitol.
