That's how I spend most of my time when on the boards. linking topics created in PT WITH the appropriate forum too.

Let's use Homie for example, let's say he creates an informative NFL pick thread in PT only, one of the mods will make sure that thread gets maximum exposure and link that thread with the NFL forum as well.

This way if a 'guest' is interested mainly in NFL content and visits only the NFL forum, there's a good chance Homie's efforts will be missed sitting in PT only.

That's one way to drive viewership and membership up.

1) Betpoints value. Can't just cut the cord. Even if the prices quadruple, guys can feel like they can get some value out of those Betpts.

2) Poker. Even if it's just one Sunday tournament, guys would love to get back to it. Make modest payouts for top 3 slots.

That would address the forum interest substantially.

Forums can get VERY tiresome. Most of the content is poor and/or un-readable.

Bring back the Betpoints and Poker. Get some value out of the Point system. Trust me, it's good business.

Hi BTJ...Hope you are doing well my friend...anyhow, it's a couple of factors....primarily, just like when I was living in the states, it's just to supplement my income. A little extra spending money for my leisurely lifestyle and expenses. and also to stay focused and sharp in the sports world which I still enjoy with a passion. Truth be told, I don't how much longer I will be doing it or how long I will continue to post on this forum.

It's not unusual for Management change to lead to questionable decisions. Betpoints and Poker are what made SBR unique. Being able to post and convert those points into a Giftcard, pretty nice.

Nobody was getting rich off this stuff. And the Poker was good enough that guys would alter their schedule to play in the Poker tournaments. SBR Poker World Cup was pretty cool, it was fun for all involved.

Yes I agree that’s what they need to reenforce betpoints/poker to attract posters. The new owners here don’t have a background of how things were built 10-15 years ago and they have their own ideas & their own plan.
