Would you let someone interview you on camera or if you have already was it smart?

Talking to the news seems like a really bad idea, but I have no clue.

    What sayeth SBR.

I've been on radio and TV before.
It's OK as long as you don't reveal anything incriminating.

I really appreciate the responses. this means a great deal to me not because of me personally but for a friend. I don't want said person to be harmed so I am trying to offer the soundest advice I can. My friend has no intention of causing harm but simply to discuss how this persons organization can help folks. I really do appreciate any advice, I have a lot of respect for the forum.

My college buddy went on a dating show in the early 2000’s and not only was it an amazing summer in Los Angeles he also:

            1. Cleaned up immediately on every girl
            2. Still cleans up
            3. Has been pretty successful in business because it elevated his profile
            4. Can’t hurt unless it’s Judge Judy or America’s Most Wanted

It's ok if it's not a controversial subject I think. If you think you could present yourself well and not choke.

Many years ago I knew of some evidence about an asbestos maker knowingly producing decades after their chemists warned that expected staff death rates in their factories would be astronomical long term and a reporter wanted to interview me about it. It was a bad experience and I'd never trust an investigative journalist again. Thankfully did not get sucked into the interview in the end at least.

I was interviewed for a man on the street bit more than a decade ago. They asked about R Kelly. Worst kept secret in chicago. His goons never got to me

I was interviewed about steroid use in scholastic athletics for a cable sports show.
Trust me, I had to triple think every word I was going to say in my mind before I opened my mouth to speak.
I did fine, except I don't like to think that hard.
