Avian Flu is back in 2024. Here's what you need to know.
Much like the influenza virus that infects humans, the disease is highly contagious, resulting in a wide variety of symptoms, including sudden fatigue, decreased egg production, and nasal discharge. And because there’s no way to treat domestic poultry for the bird flu, infection usually means death.

Egg production? Like infertility in women? We talking about the birds or human symptoms?

Jibby's article was all about birds. Human females don't really produce eggs anyways as they are born with all their eggs.
The H3N8 variant has previously been detected elsewhere in the world in animals, but no human cases have been reported. Read more at straitstimes.com. Read more at straitstimes.com.

Your article says this; "The good news is that there is no evidence showing this strain of the avian flu can spread to humans."
And Fatty's article says this; " an initial assessment determined the variant did not yet have the ability to effectively infect humans, and the risk of a large-scale epidemic was low."
In case you missed that bit.

I can but admire your dedication to the cause, even if it is a lost cause.

I mentioned the article was in regards to the birds and not humans in post #23. Hey but virus's mutate... Ya never know if it will hit humans in time?
This little focker pecks you it could be game over ..
