Greg Gutfeld mocked the celebrity aftermath of Will Smith's Oscars slap on "Gutfeld!" Thursday.

"Look, if my kids did this in school, they'd be suspended. If I did this at an event, I'd be escorted out, if not arrested — regardless if they press charges," he said.
"[Smith] got treated like a god, and he's not," the agent continued. "None of these people are. Will Packer handled [it] wrong, the Academy didn't do s—, and the speech was horrific to watch. Plus, [Smith] didn't even apologize to Chris Rock. And then partied all night."

I think he's making too much of it, in terms of the speech after the slap.
The speech occurred literally minutes after the slap.
Will was still processing what happened.
He was still probably pissed off at Rock about the joke, thinking the slap was justified.
The party? It was pre-planned and you are the star, so you have to show up.

The agent is not thinking about natural human emotion and is expecting too much in this spot, just my opinion.

Will Smith is a loose cannon, I still think he should be arrested for assault and not be allowed go to the grammy's ever again. You can't just walk on stage in front of millions and bitch slap the host and comedian like he did.

^^ Chris Rock was smiling and hands behind back and chin out and rolled big time with the slap. That's the only reason I think it just might be staged. Chris Rock played it off to cool and didn't press charges either.

Even with that I lean it wasn't an acting job but I don't fully rule it out. The aftermath has nothing to with what happened that night at this point. The plan probably now backfired if staged.

There was absolutely nothing ZERO to gain from staging that entire event.

Will Smith angrily screaming "Keep my wife's name out yer fukking mouth" 2 times, was worse than the slap IMO.

I agree but still the slap looked pre-planned and staged to me regardless. Look at it closely. That's all I got. Like I said I still lean it was all legit and not staged but I will not rule out a staged act.

Chris Rock really rolled with that slap like it didn't even connect and as if he knew it was coming. Will Smith turned away to fast without saying a word also after the slap.
