Yep to fill up the tank from empty is almost a $100 now for Techron Super at Chevron near my hood, registration renewal is always a hit every year also, just to keep it insured (full coverage) at State Farm is pricey as well every year even though I have a clean driving record and don't drive the car that much.

The Lexus doesn't require much maintenance but there is always something you need to replace in time. Brakes, tires, oil changes, etc.

Then you have depreciation also and wear. Cars are BAD investments unless it's vintage and garaged and restore it to sell.

I had a long political talk with the owner of my company today as I gave my 2 weeks notice because I'm moving to FL. He is a hardcore lefty blue Democrat from Massachusetts all the way. So I asked him what he thought about Biden and even HE said that he sucks. Now obviously this guy is a millionaire. He owns 2 homes. One is in Marco Island in FL and one in the NH lakes region right on Winnipesaukee. Now this guy definitely has connections to democratic politicians in the state and what not. The reason I know this is because when the pandemic first hit he shutdown the plant for a week in March and called us back and made us essential workers a week later lol. Long story short if THIS GUY is saying that Joe Biden sucks, there is no way he is going to win in the next election if we keep on this trajectory. His words....

Just got my grocery bill for this past month. $1800.. Usually $1300 a month for the past year or so on average. I buy the same stuff. FACT!!
