There is a direct link between viruses and cancer. I suppose it's possible that an mrna vaccine could cause cell mutation but is that worse than catching the virus from a cancer risk perspective? I doubt the science will tell us anything for many years. I'm going to error on the side of avoiding the virus before I avoid a vaccine that prevents said viral infection.

I’ve had both moderna vaccines, the last in early March, I also had my every 6 month cancer scans in June which showed no current cancer. I see my cancer doc later this week, which he will then schedule my next cancer scans sometime in November, I’ll give a real person report as whether the cancer has returned or is still dormant after I get the results.
