Truth to this, most would just think it's a common cold if they got it. Life goes on as normal especially if you are healthy and or young.. Ignorance could actually be bliss with Covid.

I let my 16 yr old get it, who had been lobbying hard for it.

We have many elderly relatives and we want to protect them.

I have a super liberal relative who has refused to get it fearing long term damage to the immune system.
