Agree on The Godfather, but I liked some of the old Sean Connery Bond movies. The first one with Daniel Craig was great and one of the other ones after that. 1-2 were kind of slow and I gave up

Great movie and great recruiting tool for wannabe naval fliers or the Air Force!

I went into the Air Force in 1987 and learned something really quick. They don't give $50 mil dollar aircraft to young kids like that. Thats Hollywood. Almost all the pilots I knew had a little bit of a gut and were atleast 30 years old.

Yeah I don't even think of alot of those movies that won Oscars. They're almost all overrated. Or today they just remake a bunch of shit. Blow shit up with CGI and have one middle-aged dude like Tom Cruise or Denzel Washington beat the shit out of 8 younger guys at the same time

Underrated Sicario

For my money the original in 2015 is one of the better action movies I've ever seen. Emily Blunt was outstanding as the naive woman in local law enforcement that gets dragged into the world of CIA border war drug shit.

Underrated in my book. Michelle Williams is no Marilyn, but she captures that thing she had with men. They want to bang her, but they also wanted to protect her and be her hero! Sad figure for sure. I think the Kennedys had her killed, but she would've died young from pills/booze anyway

No way. That movies was just action. It was terrible.

Check out Layer Cake which got him the role. That was pretty good.

Well you’re entitled to your own opinion all good. I really enjoyed the soundtrack to that film then & still do. I always thought Maverick was a cool slick dude who went after an older mature chick in the movie which was different. The movie was about love, death, & passion for greatness as a fighter jet pilot & for those reasons it’s one of my all time favorites & don’t consider it a “kid” movie. Space jams is a kid movie and the new one just came out and I feel like that movie was overrated.

Yeah, it is a guy's movie. I don't really go for that stuff. I would rather watch a decent chick flick like About A Boy. I need a good plot.

My Most Underrated actually would be Diamond Men which I never even heard of and got recommended on Netflix. Donnie Wahlberg was extremely good in that movie. It only made $200,000.

Over-rated: the whole Star Wars series BEYOND the 1st 3. Bad acting galore.

Under-rated: Ordinary People. GREAT acting across the board. Mary Tyler Moore was great in the bitch role, very tricky to play.

Redford told the older actors to not talk to young Timothy Hutton off-screen. Only guy that talked to him was Judd Hirsch, the shrink. That worked perfectly, b/c Hutton looked edgy with everyone except Hirsch.

Hirsch earned accolades for his realistic portrayal of the shrink. And Donald Sutherland was pretty good (too) as the dad.
