My 84 year old mother had the vax.
I was worried about it affecting her too at the time.
She said her trusted doctor said the elderly immune system mostly does not have as much reaction to the vax as younger people and therefore the very small chances of adverse effects were also way lower in her age group.

60,000 people die of the seasonal flu every year.........no one cares. This is roughly double the lethality.
