But Jay that's all they're qualified to do though
When you do the same thing all day every day, and you still can't put the right stuff in a freaking bag, or always leave things out, then you aren't capable of doing anything more responsible and being paid moreComment -

#6This is all a result of Trump's policies. He never once went to a Burger King. Only eats at McDonald's.Comment -

#8The GM was upset about working 50-60 hours, something I do every week. Sorry about their situation but I have very little sympathy here. Businesses hire you to
improve their business/culture. I started in my business at the very bottom making minimum wage and 17 years later I own the business with 150 employees. The fact is a great deal of these folks just do not have the qualifications, will or desire to change their situation. They do make excuses though.Comment -

I started building kitchens with my uncle's own company when I was 16 and he paid me 20 bucks an hour. Theres no way ill work for less than that.
Minimum wage a complete joke. No one should work for that little.
I get that's all their qualified to do and most of them are too lazy todo anything else but still....hire a fking robot to do the work.Comment -

#15If anyone is still eating this stuff, then they should probably be put in a work camp for stupidity alone. Its the worse food you can eat next to hot dogs (see nitrates). Stop eating fast food, and break out a dam pan on your stove. It aint that difficult. Plus, by the time you drive there, potentially wait in a line, get back home......you could've cooked.Comment -

#16The issue wasn’t work hours, it was 90-100 degree heat in a kitchen with no air conditioning.Comment -

#19I worked for a month at Burger King when I was 15.
Just put the burgers on the grill that fed the flame broil oven and did some fries, swept the floor a couple times.
Don't see many 15 year olds working anymore.Comment -

#20The heat is debatable... they were undermanned and frustrated. Most service businesses are right now. I live franchised business every single day and you fail again. I’d stick to what you know, losing. General Managers cannot order new equipment typically over $2500 but are authorized to order parts/service. Matter of fact, most franchised organizations have an internal person that handles that.Comment -

#21We work 50-60 hours a week cause we get paid more than 15. I can get upwards of 55 dollars an hour for some sessions.

Fair enough but I didn’t make $15 my first job in my current business. It was far less. What I did do is seize the opportunity I had though. There is no such thing as a perfect job or opportunity. You have to work towards it. I’m sure you have done just that.Comment -

#31Nothing about the article seems too stressful. The District Managers still have jobs, the General Manager and store employees don’t, but the store is still open. Seems more like a Tales From the Crypt episode. The District Manager probably IS a Crypt Keeper.Comment -
