While I agree with your general premise, what about young kids attending or other people who have not been able to get vaccinated just yet? I know a few people in Florida that are still waiting to get vaccinated. Those people, especially kids are vulnerable. But we are getting closer to the point where everyone that want to get vaccinated, will get vaccinated. By then, it does not make sense to bar people just because they choose not to. We're still not quite there IMO but yes, I was at a casino a few weeks ago and I didn't care who was vaccinated or not. It's not my job. Open shit up and let the chips lay where they may.

Testing underway on young kids. But Yes, most kids are not vulnerable to severe complications BUT there's been several kids that have actually died. Who knows if new variants could be more impactful on them. We had an AAU kid that missed most of the season. We had another kid who missed a few days. Who the hell knows. What I do know is that a lot of people are getting vaccinated and the numbers are dropping like a rock. That tells me that the vaccines are working, which is a great thing. Time to get back to normal. Damn, that means I'll have to go back into the office. Oh well.

and although I listen to the experts, I don't just take what they say blindly. Fauci is learning on the job just like everyone else. The CDC has talked out both sides of their asses. They want kids to wear masks when outside at camps. That seems a bit overkill for me. They want vaccinated people to wear masks which makes no sense to me as it seems very rare for a vaccinated person to carry the virus and spread it to an unvaccinated person. Eventually, common sense will rule the day. Most people in Houston seem to have good common sense, which is rare. Even when the governor opened shit up, people were still taking precautions to help protect others. People are slowly but surely getting back to normal here. Good job Houstonians.
