When I raise a family based in values and morals and ideology of my youth and my fathers youth, because that is the way America is built and is a proven way to wealth and a successful life, then yes it does.
Because a handful of internet influencers and the ivy league hypocritical elite who live with this false narrative of hope/ change/ perfection, when that bullshit begins to infiltrate society and weaken it, by elimination of thought, elimination of choice and elimination of opportunity, then yes, it mist certainly does effect and my offspring in a very negative manner.
To a greater extent, having to deal with people who cannot think constructively (my pay day loan clients) I feel sad for them. They are stupid...they believe a government will save the, they believe limiting choice is better for them, they believe this political correctness will positively impact them. It won't. I'll never hire a black man or Hispanic that sympathizes with this at my stores, who wants this headache, what employer would ever want to tolerate anyone with this type of thought process....the only people that hire sheep like this are the automated franchises that pay minimum wage and offer ZERO career advancement, thus enslaving at minimum wage, the very people voting for the policies.

If you read that from my statement then you are simply not that smart. Read it again and you'll see that I state hiring based on thought.
There is prejudice EVERYWHERE in the world, whether racial or religious. Why do you think America is going to be this unicorn country when everywhere there's hate. Protestants and Catholics have been killing each other in England for centuries, the Roman Church and Martin Luther ripped apart Germany, the Japanese enslaved the Chinese for 200 years and that was after the Mongolians had there way. The Indians hate the Pakistanis and the Jews live in fear of the Muslims. African tribes like the Moors have been invading Europe since the dawn of time and there is no way you'll ever get a black presence in the Nordic Countries. The French Canadians look down upon the other Provence like the Cubans look down upon the Afro-Cuban.
It's everywhere.
But when you start destroying the things that we know, for decades, to be fair and honest materials for families to teach civilized society to their own, when you suddenly begin unwinding the foundation of US, you're going to create a world with nothing but hate and division.
When this liberal disease creates a system where our kids don't know which bathroom to use, what books to read, whether they can or cannot say words or kiss/ hug a girl, when there's women on the men's team and vice versa, when Christmas is outlawed and companies have to apologize for being too white....you're creating a secular world. With no common beliefs, values or shared interests anymore. All that will be left is the inherent hate that binds groups of people by default.

Jim Crow ‘voter suppression’ been replaced by Left ballot rigging - as evident in the most recent election. ‘Genocide’? ‘Slave Labor’? C’mon man! Is your post from 1867? As far as Conservative ‘Kancel Kulture’, it’s usually referred to as ‘Boycott’ and a lot of times from the extreme religious (which I usually disagree with). No, the Left has that ‘kornered’ and, I must admit, they’re doing a pretty good job of it. Won’t be long before everything is bland, gray in color with a label simply stating what the product is from nameless, faceless corporations.....

I don't like the premise here.
We always hear "nation built on slavery".
Well, slave trade was banned in the US Constitution in 1787 (effective 1808) so there's that, plus 6 of the original 13 had outlawed slavery at the founding AND sans the Missouri Compromise I think something like 35 of the 37 states admitted to the union after its founded were 'free states' that had abolished slavery in their Constitutions.
With respect to the term voter suppression. If you need an ID to board a plan or drive a car or buy a beer or get a loan then why shouldn't you need one to vote? Jim Crow laws weren't suppression they were no different than modern voter ID rules. Voter suppression would be akin to Biden recently ruling by order that shops can no longer have private or secrete ballots for union votes. See the "intimidation" factor there?...that's suppression. If there was ever a time in Jim Crow south where a black man HAD TO DISCLOSE his vote I'd be curious to hear about it.
Now, was living in Jim Crow south easy? Absolutely not...the Union freed slaves, gave them rights, but the economy forced them right back to work in even lessor conditions (share cropping), and then of course Johnson (D) shifted the reconstruction dollars to the States instead of Federally implementing the rebuilding. States run by Democrats.

Nope. But I can see through the flippant shock-n-awe that video is trying to convey.
I was fortunate to grow up in the suburbs with MTV. I'm constantly baffled by the amount of old friends, schoolmates, co-workers, etc. that grew up in the same area and time-range as me and have morphed into intolerable bigoted bastards.
I'm always like, "umm...we did listen to the same music didn't we?" Judas Priest, Twisted Sisters, The Kinks, The Sex Pistols, Violent Femmes, The Cure, Culture Club, Wham, George Michael, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Queen, David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Joan Jett, REM, Pet Shop Boys, Poison, Motley Crue, B-52's, Talking Heads, Devo, Madonna and on and on.
And that's in our little to big kid growing up range. By time late teens to early 20's there was the whole grunge, alt-rock era with an even more sexual ambiguity and gender-bending fluidity prominence in the lyrics for a lot of bands, artists.
How people that grew up with that variety of music videos, listening and singing along to the lyrics will always perplex me with their hatred towards the LBTGQ community.
Oh, and I had to look up the "alleged" origin or meaning behind Peter Pan. I admit I haven't read the book, or children's versions of the story, since I was a kid. Probably haven't seen the movie since I was a kid. But I do know I never remember thinking they were a pedo. All I remember about the story is it was a positive story about always keep dreaming and trying to stay youth at heart by seeking adventure, and/or dreaming of adventure.
So in the search results an old Huff Post(yeh yeh yeh, save it on the "fake news!" rhetoric.) article talks, or explores, the darker meaning, of the context behind certain lines of dialog.
But that's not what I found interesting. The article originally was written in April of 2015, and starts off by stating "One year ago, Disney put “Peter Pan” back in the vault. It’ll be a few years before it’s released again to a new generation,"
So apparently Disney pulls these old movies quite often.
Heck, the newer Dumbo movie could arguably be worse for kids vs the old cartoon version. That zhit was a dark azz somber movie.
Now, is there a bigger hidden agenda as to why Disney will pull certain movies and then re-release them? Hell, it could be a variety of reasons. Is it caving in to some special interest groups? Is it a mix of caving in and then silently putting it back and hoping to go unnoticed, and/or repeat the process once some special interest group comes back around? Is it just a simple money thing? Like take away something, drive more interest in it, revamp it, release new versions, release limited release DVD "special" features with added blah blah blah.
The mixture of reasoning is vast.
Someone pointed out how it's companies/businesses just grand-standing, and/or for publicity. And I wouldn't doubt it. Anything to drive a conversation and get people talking about your product is a plus in some companies eyes.
I do know I hadn't heard and/or read anything about a group, or online petition in any recent memory of, trying to get Peter Pan or Dumbo removed. Nor, any movement to remove or revamp the likes of Pepe Le Pew, Mr. Potato Head, The Muppets, old out-of-print Dr. Seuss books, etc. etc.
All of this was done by companies that just decided what they thought was best for their brand moving forward. But here's the kicker. Regardless if a company makes an announcement, people will complain one way or the other. From either aisle of the spectrum.
If the company doesn't make an announcement and just slowly removes something from circulation, and/or makes slight changes to be more modern. There will be one side that once they realize it, they will make a big hoopla out of nothing. Calling it a conspiracy.
If the company does make an announcement and gives a logical and rational reason as to why, there will still be a group that rises in fake outrage and protest. And still call it a higher, deeper conspiracy by the [insert boogie-man here.]

States run by Democrats.
Wait? You mean the Southern Colonies that claimed to be the "back-bone" workforce of the time, plus the financial power of the colonies, didn't argue for the 3/5 compromise AND for "equal" representation by wanting 2 Senators per State?
Basically your own word-salad of trying to rewrite the narrative that slavery wasn't a huge part of this Country's founding and origin gives credence for the acknowledgement of how having 2 Senators per State is outdated.
Gerrymandering, closing of places to votes, shorter time-frames, less voting machines, voter intimidation, road closures, etc. etc. have all been well written about and/or reported on throughout the years for black communities, and or more liberal, progressive-minded areas, towns, cities and the like.
I have no problem with the simple showing of a drivers license to vote. I've been doing it since 1994. But I understand the no need for one if an effective postal service and proven mail-in ballot system can work together.
By submitting your info online and it being verified against your state/county's database to determine whether you get a ballot or not, eliminates the need for someone who has no need for a DL because they're disabled or just don't drive in general. Even the argument that someone should have to have an ID live in-person at the ballot box is silly when you really think about it.
First off, it's a form of a poll tax, because someone needs to have a "valid" and "updated" form of whatever the required ID may be.
Secondly, if someone is registered in their jurisdiction they will be on the rolls or in the database. Once someone uses that name at the assigned polling place, and signs their name to the matching name/address, no one else can use that name matching that address(with exception to a Jr, III, IV etc.) and if someone did vote posing as me and I'm told I already voted - they will give me a provisional ballot and then it will be investigated of who posed as me, and that person will be charged and in a heap of trouble. But it rarely happens because the consequences vs whatever gain or positive someone thinks they will achieve is not worth it.
Thirdly, the idea, or scary boogie-man notion of "illegals" voting in droves is mind-numbingly stoopid. The premise that someone in this Country illegally, WITHOUT proper credentials, are going to risk going in public to a polling location and stand in line, and risk being profiled by security or an off-duty cop, and end up arrested for no proper identification, is beyond ridiculous. Even the idea that they would register online and vote illegally with a paper mail-in ballot don't make sense. What's the odds that any possible fake SS number they're using - whether from a dead or alive person - is for a person in the exact area of the Country they are living in? I highly doubt if an illegal person living and working on, oh, let's say a cow ranch, in...Oklahoma, and they're using a fake SS from a person living, or last living, in...oh, let's say...Pennsylvania, the illegal is not gonna risk filling out fake info on a federal/state document, and signing it, and hoping the database and crosschecks don't catch it, all because they want to vote.
But back to the voter suppression. Georgia officials, A GOP led state legislation, had been bragging about how great all the new rules they'd been implementing were helping ALL Georgians. Well low and behold. What happens. People turn out and vote in record numbers and the state turns blue by a slight margin and next thing that happens is the GOP state legislators are like "Welp, that didn't work the way we thought it would. back to the drawing board and reverse these laws that WE created."
Here's the thing. If individual States want to draw their lines up in their states however they want, or even make laws were it's harder to vote, that's fine with me if it's for State, County, or City elections. If a state wants to ostracize a certain demographic that's on them. And it's on individual businesses, especially corporations, to decide whether they want to do business with a state, county, city with draconian type mentality. It can constantly be rigged in favor for a GOP/Libertarian/Qanon for a Governor, Mayor, SOS, State Senators and State Reps, and other state/local officials, but....when it comes to electing FEDERAL officials, IE: Federal Senators and Federal Congressional State Reps to Congress AND the President of the United States, that is where all the BS should stop.
If a State is electing FEDERAL officials to work in DC to construct and enact policy that EFFECTS the whole Country, then every State should be on the same page as to who is allowed to vote and the rules on how the voting process takes place.
That's why a National Mail-in ballot system makes more sense. It still can be operated by each State individually to scan and count. Just the layout style of the ballots, the envelopes, the process used, the machines, everything - should ALL be the same.
And if not a National mail-in system - then the rules to register and vote in-person for Federally elected officials has to be identical from State-to-State. Same layout of ballots, same scanners, same check-in process, same ratio of voting machines per capita, same ratio of voting locations per capita per County, and on and on. Same EVERYTHING for voting for Federal officials.
On a State/County/Local level the azz-backwards phucktards can do however they please. I don't give a flyin' Fook! The largest national and/or regional companies in a state/county/city dictate the policy anyway. Just follow the money and hobknobbin' on where they stand for policies. And if enough people in a state/county/city don't like it. They'll boycott. It's that simple.
Now, the equivalent of some union voting having to stop secret or private ballot voting is "intimidation" of the voter - as if anyone has ever been forced to show who they voted for at their local polling place.
I haven't worked a union job since end of 90's so I'm not hip to what goes on in Union World. But my limited understanding of the old-school secret/private voting thing - had something to do with the National Labor Board and The Union at hand, and maybe another organization, that would hold these secret/private voting processes in order to pass or deny a Union being able to represent a group of workers.
I don't see the equivalency. Because, before any secret/private voting would take place by a small group of officials, or even need to - the workers would already be on record as to whether they wanted representation. Like, it's usually getting workers signatures on a list by going around with a clipboard, or maybe having them fill out a small postcard type card w/ their info. So The "workers" are already on record or their "vote" in this analogy - is already exposed.

Little do We in The USA how close we came in 2016 W/48 Republican governors and the possible damage to our electoral process. 50 Republican governors backing the Party could have voided the election, putting Party over Country, as They Always fukin do. Luckily, anti trump sentiment saved the Republic from Germany, 1933.

Union/Civil war freed the slaves? Guess it's all relative, like yours?

My ancestors didn't arrive here until 1873, part of the German Junker Elite who got wiped out by the depression of the 1870s & surplus agricultural exports of reconstruction USA
We started brewing beer and stayed in the industry and beer business until 2007
Then I evolved into private lending & real estate
For as far back as I've ever looked, into the late 20s, we've never received a tax refund or a welfare check
I mean, seriously, after 4 generations of civil rights and wealth redistribution and affirmative action you'd think the BLACK victim mentality would abate. It's a choice today, not a fact.
