The big problem is is women are more of "followers" and its "group think" following their alpha group female. The TV relentlessly pushes interracial dating crap. The attitude, is nearly, at this point, that they are racist if they are with a white man. So, to "fit in" and be "in the group" and "in the "in" of this new great culture: they all start dating blacks. Let's say its "trendy" to be doing this apparently.
