    Anyone do Yoga?
I’ve been doing it in the morning and it helps get my day started

one problem, I get halfway through and start wanting to bang the yoga instructor. Really throws off my session. Anyone have some tips to avoid that?

only when we are in Chicago for the summer.

Go to weekend morning yoga sessions in Millenial park. hundreds of hot butts to look at.

I spend half my time in child's pose, pretending my back is "tight" watching all the downward facing dogs around me.

no tips for actually doing Yoga though.

You all laugh but I know real deal poker players who live by yoga. It really calms your mental shit down, more than aerobics or weightlifting, something mental about it

I used to follow a couple yoga videos on YouTube. Then I got tired of them.

In the last year I've been getting a sore hip. I think it's the way I sit on my couch.

So I've taken up Tai chi instead and it seems to work. That's where you stand in certain poses for a certain amount of time. I don't like to stand in one pose for too long so I've been moving my legs/arms during the pose trying to maintain my balance. That helps build up the muscles in those areas.

gaucho its either aerobics or anaerobics here...yoga is way above their heads.

like i always say, you can last a round, jump around, and think you're hard but lasting more than a round in the ring requires both. guys here are soft

Yoga is good stuff. Gamblers neglect their bodies. Turns out sitting around for hours on end, being stressed over break even sessions, smoking cigarettes and eating Doritos and sliders isn’t good for you.

When I think of aerobics I think of thongs outside of stretch pants and leg warmers.

I'm just fukkin round as usual.

I believe it about the yoga. If you do any sort of stressful physical or mental activity yoga or meditation is a must.

as a guy who has to have a beer at the poker tables (and loses hilariously) , just having a quick, fresh mind is so useful at the poker tables... breathing even. I'll say there are tons of pro poker players who do yoga.

lifting weights is different....yoga teaches you how to fkn breathe...

I got into yoga last year, but stopped when the pandemic lockdown started in March. I miss it. It's great for flexibility, core strength, mental well-being, and even the excretory system. I used to take the biggest shits an hour after yoga.

I would go weekday mornings and the classes would all be filled with women in tight yoga clothes... and they were all over 60

I just moved to Hawaii and joined a much larger gym than I was at before and with a much younger demographic. DAMN..... do the ladies wear nice outfits these days. It's a good thing yoga pants weren't around (or socially acceptable) when I was 18.... I'd be walking around with a chubby and not able to work out. The gym is just full of hot little Hawaiian spinners with tatoos and boob jobs. Of course, they all have boyfriends with arms the size of my legs so I can't look too long.
